A Virtual Visit Chez Xorys - Page 2

This is my little 14" TV on which I do most of my Xena watching. On top of the TV are three of the new 6" dolls (close-ups and more details below, if you stay with me...). On the left is Gab, wrapped in a sheet (well actually it looks more like sail-cloth, and it's quite a complicated shape - sort of a 'designer sheet'). She has a staff in her hand. Next to her is Goddess Callisto. And then on the right Barbarian Xena, with her strange, wing-like faux-fur shoulder muffs. In the foreground, standing on a stack of video-tapes, and totally out of focus, is the fourth figure from the new 6" set, 'Huntress' Xena, holding her chakram, and wearing her russet brown velour cape (which I somehow missed in OAAA, which is the ep this figure is supposed to correspond to). In the background, behind the TV, you can see some more Xena pics and posters on the wall, plus some pics of Indian actresses from old B&W Hindi films.

This shows a bit more of the wall in back of the TV, which is sort of split three ways between Xena, family and old Hindi film stars. The two Xena posters at the bottom right both came from mags. Above them are a couple of family photos, and a framed piece from an old Hindi movie poster. To the left are a bunch more pics of Hindi film stars from the 40s and 50s, and then four more 8x10's of Xena and Gab - on the boat (from Ulysses, I think), Xena the Conqueror, Gab with the eagle-headed staff Ephiny gave her, and Xena mounted on Argo.

And here's a slightly better shot of that wall behind the TV. You can see the Xena posters better (one was from Fresh, I forget where the other came from). The family pictures are clearer too, and you can see that they're surrounded by a bunch more Xena 8x10's <g> - Xena and Gab bathing, Xena pulling Gab up onto Argo behind her (again), Gab and Xena fishing, and a straight portrait of Xena. In case you're wondering, the tapes on the wall-rack at the right are actually Hindi films, not Xena eps!
