He raised the bar when it came to Hovis and Fish Fingers ads then took the film world by storm. This site looks at the work of Sir Ridley Scott, from acclaimed historical epic The Duellists to Oscar-nominated Black Hawk Down and beyond. Now, with a knighthood in the 2003 New Year's Honours' List, Sir Ridley Scott shows little sign of slowing down at an age when most men are enjoying their retirement. Upcoming projects as director include Matchstick Men (with Nicolas Cage), and Tripoli (with Russell Crowe).
