Lucien LaCroix, a Roman General raised from the ashes of Pompeii by his daughter Divia. The evil he had done in the Ancient Roman times developed through the centuries to shape him to be a ruthless man. Despite his ruthless, his fatherly side, has truly been shaped into a unique state. His love of his vampire children (Nicholas and Janette) and of his daughter Divia is what has made this character one of the best. His evilness can be counteracted with the fact his evil is a lesser state of evil than what he had done when he is mortal. The philosophical ideas behind this characters is what make many fans so attracted to this "bad guy".
