Buffy is assualted by a vicious triple play of warrior vampires known as the Three. These vampires attacked
Buffy and she survived only by the help of Angel. Angel fended them off and they gave their lives to
the Master for their failure. Angel spends the night at her house. The next day he stays there and at night
he kisses Buffy. Surprise, he vamps out while kissing Buffy and then jumps out the window. It turns
out that Angel is a vampire who was cursed by gypsies which gave him a soul. Now he the gloating, tormented
demon, we see now. Angel kills his sire, Darla before she gets the chance to kill Buffy. We then see
Buffy and Angel in the Bronze together for a few moments. When Buffy leans into kiss Angel, Angel is burned
by her cross but doesn't say anything.
