Douglas Breen (Michael Biehn) loves aging actress, Sally, who is making a comeback. Seeing himself as Sally's number one fan, he becomes frustrated when his efforts to gain her attention with his letters doesn't work. Operating under the delusion of being in love with Sally, Douglas will stop at nothing to get what he wants, while Sally remains oblivious to him, until he makes his presense known in her life.
