Jim Davidson (Alonzo Baptiste)

Jim Davidson joined the cast of GUIDING LIGHT in the role of vagabond Alonzo Baptiste on September 27, 2001. Unaware that he is the true heir to the San Cristobel throne, Alonzo has returned from sea only to discover that the newly elected democratic ruler, President Richard Winslow, and his wife, Cassie, have adopted the newborn son that he never knew he had.

A native of Pennsylvania, Jim received his Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University and later became a certified public accountant, working for Price Waterhouse Cooper. When he caught the acting bug, he trained at the Actor's Conservatory in New York City.

Since then, Jim's television credits include Pacific Blue, Ally McBeal, Charmed and The Agency. In addition, his film credits include Disaster and Last Gasp.
