Mackanzie Mauzy (Lizzie Spaulding)

Mackenzie Mauzy joined the cast of Guiding Light in November 2000 in the role of Lizzie Spaulding. Although still just a little girl, Lizzie has seen her share of trouble: she is responsible for the death of her mother’s ex-boyfriend, battled leukemia, and stood helplessly by as her stepfather was killed in a fire. More than anything though, Lizzie holds out hope that her estranged parents, Beth Lemay and Phillip Spaulding, will reunite.

Mauzy has appeared on stage in a number of regional theater productions in Pennsylvania and Virginia such as Annie, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, A Christmas Carol, Snow White and MacBeth. She won the Anna Wentworth Award for Best Child Actress for her lead role as Annie in Annie Warbucks at the Showtimers Theatre in Virginia.
