Susan Pratt (Dr. Clare Ramsey)

Susan Pratt returned to Guiding Light in April 2000 as Dr. Claire Ramsey, a role she previously played from 1983-86. Desperate to forge a relationship with her biological daughter Michelle Santos, Claire's schemes contributed to the destruction of both Michelle and her brother Rick's marriages.

In addition to Guiding Light, Pratt has appeared in a number of daytime roles including All My Children, General Hospital, As the World Turns and Loving. She has guest-starred on such primetime series as The Cosby Mysteries, Welcome Back Kotter, Nancy Drew Mysteries and The Streets of San Francisco.

Pratt's film credits include Before and After with Liam Neeson and Meryl Streep, and Survival Run. She also had a cameo in Howard Stern's film, Private Parts.

After studying at the American Academy of the Dramatic Arts, Pratt began her acting career in California. She also enjoyed a successful modeling career in Europe.

Pratt, whose favorite hobby is horseback riding, helps her mother and brother run Peter Pratt's Inn, a restaurant in Yorktown, New York. She currently lives in Westchester County, New York, with her husband Alfredo and their three children, Sophia, Lorenna and Giancarlo.
