Story:
TheForce.Net reported a while ago the similarities of the balcony outside Palpy's apartment and the balcont where Sid and Maul have a conversation. Is is possibly the same balcony? Lets look at the facts:
- The design of both balconies share some of the same properties.
- They appear to be the same color.
BUT...
- the buildings that the balconies overlook appear to be different. If you look at the pics below, you can see the differences. We get a glympse of the area around Sid's balcony before we see them. Like many of the first shots of scenes on Coruscant, the camera tracks a spacecraft over the city, then we see the same spacecraft in the background of the main scene. Same is true in this scene (picture below left) When we see Sid and Maul on the balcony, there is a cone-shaped building behind them. (above). Is it possible that the lighted building on the far left is Sid's apartment?
In addition, when Amadala is speakiing with palpy in his apartment at night, (below right)we cannot see the coned building nor any other similar building.
