We get a glimpse of a pilot just before he is destroyed by Federation gunfire.
Story:
Again, George called upon his mates at ILM to be apart of the film. In this scene, the poor pilot who is killed is none other than John Knoll, special effects supervisor for ILM. When there were major discussions on theForce.Net about John Knoll saying that the USS Enterprise was in TPM (see above), The Official Star Wars Webpage updated their ?snapshots? section with this image (but did not reveal the identity of the pilot). Was this just all a coincidence? Many think not!
