Trilogy Cameo - Part 1: Nein Numb
When:
While Qui Gon is leaving to talk business with Watto in his junkyard.
Where:
Behind Jar Jar when Qui Gon orders Jar Jar not to touch anything.
Story:
This comes to my site from SupraJedi who posted this on a messageboard:
"Okay I've been one to be very wary of jumping to conclusions about easter eggs in TPM but I saw The Movie for the 4th time tonight and I swear this one is real. In the back ground sitting on shelf to the left of the screen (on Jar Jar's right side) clear as day is Nein Numb's head! Those black eyes, gray skin and large gill thingys are easy to make out."
It's very hard to see in this screen capture but I do see what he is talking about. Looks like this Easter Egg needs to be spotted on the big screen.

While skimming through Star Wars: The Making of Episode One I noticed something that may validate the above easter egg: On page 66, it shows George Lucas browsing the masks used in Episode One. Behind him on the shelf is a mask of Nein Numb!
