Rob's Halloween Site: The Michael Myers Territory
March 29, 2001
The second issue of the HALLOWEEN comic hits store shelves this Wednesday, according to the Chaos Comics website. Here's the website's description of the issue:
Michael Myers (a.k.a. The Shape) has been burned, bludgeoned, beaten, stabbed, shot -- but you can't kill Evil Incarnate! Or can you? Tommy Doyle (hero of the best-selling Halloween # 1: Behind The Mask) believes he can -- and will -- finally lay Myers to rest if he can locate the missing Dr. Loomis files. But on Halloween night the powers of evil are at full strength, and now The Shape is laying waste to the town of Haddonfield again, starting with the survivors of his 1978 killing spree. For Tommy Doyle, time is running out and the body count's on the rise...
HALLOWEEN II: The Blackest Eyes is 32 pages and is $2.70 for the regular edition, $9.00 for the Premium Edition (limited to 3,000 copies). Please visit the website for specifics and ordering info!
Also, The Myers Museum has 18 images of the German DVD Box Set. One of the Graphic Designers who worked on the set sent the webmaster all of the images, so everyone can see what the menus and such look like!
A fan has started up an online petition to release a better edition of H20 on DVD. Click Here to go to the petition and sign it if you'd like to try and get a new version of the film on DVD.
In other HALLOWEEN DVD news, there's a site out there that shows you where to find "Easter Eggs" (hidden surprises) on many of your favorite DVD's. By going to www.dvdeastereggs.com and clicking on Easter Eggs, then scrolling down to the HALLOWEEN and HALLOWEEN II sections, you can find some hidden features on those DVD's!

We have some news on the next HALLOWEEN comic that is coming out in March by Chaos Comics. Here it goes (thanks to Chad for sending this info our way):
MICHAEL MYERS TO TERRORIZE AGAIN IN MARCH 2001!
Topping of the success of the first Halloween comic book, based on the successful horror franchise, Chaos! Comics will bring Michael Myer¹s furor back yet again in the Halloween II comic book. The first Halloween comic outsold all other comics nearly 3 to 1 in its release and was October¹s biggest selling comic for Chaos! Comics. It was by far one of the best sellers of the year. As a result, fans are craving for more twisted stories of the famed horror character - and Chaos! is delivering just that!
The latest Halloween comic, Halloween II, will top and surpass its predecessor. Adding more thrills and suspense, Halloween II is not necessarily a sequel, but a completely new terrifying story that will deliver the horror that fans can expect.
Written by Bram Stoker award winning author Phil Nutman and Mickey Yablans, Halloween II is an adventure in modern horror that will keep readers enthralled. This time around our hero Tommy Doyle (from Halloween #1) returns to face Michael Myers, but time is running out! Will he save Haddonfield in the nick of time as the body count rises? Fans will find out when Halloween II hits stores 3-07-01!
Halloween II is a full color, 32 page comic that retails for $2.99. It also comes in a haunting premium version, with Michael Myers pictured haunting a creepy pumpkin patch at night.
