A vibrant, smart young lady, Laurie passed her time babysitting and reading instead of flirting with boys, like her friends Annie and Lynda.</div> <bR> <div>   It was Halloween of 1978 when Laurie's mundane life took a turn for the worse. The Shape attacked her and even followed her to the hospital after he was left for dead. It was there, under sedation, that Laurie realized her deadly tie to Michael Myers - he was her brother!</div> <bR> <div> Laurie had been adopted by the Strodes when she was just a baby. Indeed her realtor father and housewife mother were not her real parents. Shortly after that Halloween night, Laurie fell in love with an orderly she met at the hospital named Jimmy Lloyd. Laurie began having troubles dealing with her terrible memories, and soon found herself pregnant. As Laurie became more and more isolated, Jimmy could not deal with the frustration of Laurie's alcoholism, which was becoming more and more apparent. Shortly after their separation, Laurie met a doctor. Together, the pair had a child, John. Several years later, Laurie's desperation and conviction that Michael Myers would return tore them apart. Laurie, under too much stress, convinced her then-husband to fake their deaths in an automobile accident. Laurie's daughter Jamie was not involved in the situation, and was adopted by the Corruthers family in Haddonfield. Meanwhile, Laurie went her separate ways from her husband and under the watchful eye of Dr. Sam Loomis, went into hiding with her son John in Summer Glenn, California.</div> <bR> <div> In 1998, Laurie's worst nightmare came true - Michael tracked her down. After an intense evening of horrible tricks, Laurie beheaded her brother. SAM LOOMIS</U></B></div> <div> First Appearance: HALLOWEEN<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <bR> <div> Born in the UK, Dr. Loomis is world renowned for his specialty - child psychiatry. After serving in World War II, Loomis found himself studying medicine in the United States. After graduation, a medical school friend, Terrence Wynn, asked him to join the staff at a newly opened psychiatric hospital in northern Illinois - Smith's Grove.</div> <bR> <div> Loomis had only been on staff for a few months when he came across his most notorious patient - Michael Myers. Loomis spent many nights researching what could have disturbed such a young boy that he would murder his sister. After recommending that the boy be transferred to a maximum security facility, Loomis realized that the boy was "purely and simply...evil." There are some things even science and medicine can't explain.</div> <bR> <div> Loomis followed Michael Myers back to his hometown when the killer escaped in 1978. Loomis tried to stop Myers in an explosion. After spending several years in a coma, Loomis recouped and went back to work keeping watch over Myers at the Ridgemont Maximum Security Hospital. Loomis continued tracking Myers in 1988 and 1989 as he went on more murderous rampages. Loomis retired a few years later after a stroke, but in 1995 he made his last attempt to stop Myers. After Myers attacked him and left him for dead, Loomis moved in with a former nurse, Marion Whittington.</div> <bR> <div> Loomis passed away a few years later, knowing that the evil of Michael Myers would never die.</div> <bR> <div> <B><U><IMG SRC="28cb4a60.jpg" border=0 width="180" height="166" ALIGN="RIGHT" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">LYNDA VANDER KLOK</U></B></div> <div> First Appearance: HALLOWEEN<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <bR> <div> Lynda, originally a California native, moved to Haddonfield just in time to begin high school. Her vibrant personality made her instantly popular. She was well known for her "word of the week," always taking some ordinary every-day word and repeating it constantly at the end of sentences.</div> <bR> <div> Lynda was a member of the Haddonfield High cheerleadering team and was actually expecting to be chosen homecoming queen her senior year of high school. Lynda had been dating Bob for just a few months when the two of them met their fate while partying on Halloween night of 1978. </div> <bR> <div> <B><U><IMG SRC="28eaea00.jpg" border=0 width="174" height="160" ALIGN="RIGHT" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">ANNIE BRACKETT</U></B></div> <div> First Appearance: HALLOWEEN<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <bR> <div> Annie was just 17 years old when she confronted the demon known as Michael Myers. Well known around Haddonfield High as a prankster and her sarcasm, Annie was adored for her wit. Being the only daughter of the town sheriff, she often attended important Haddonfield functions. She had her share of boyfriends, her last being Paul Freedman, a year younger than her. </div> <bR> <bR> <div> <B><U>MICHAEL AUDREY MYERS</U></B></div> <div> First Appearance: HALLOWEEN<FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <bR> <div> It was at the tender age of six years old that Michael Myers stabbed his sister Judith to death.</div> <bR> <div> His parents, Edith and John, were traumatized by the event. Six months later, they were killed in a car crash and Michael's sister Laurie was adopted by neighbors.</div> <bR> <div> <IMG SRC="290a89b0.jpg" border=0 width="168" height="155" ALIGN="LEFT" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">Meanwhile, Michael was locked away in the Smith's Grove Warren County Sanitarium. He spent his years there silent, until he escaped in 1978. He returned to his hometown, hot on the trail of his sister Laurie. Ten years later he returned home after his niece Jamie. In 1998, he tracked down his sister Laurie to California.</div> <bR> <div> While few have seen his real face, Myers is known to be a notoriously smart killer. Nothing motivates him except his prey. Some believe him to have other-worldly powers, since he is resilient to any attack. Myers is well known for the pasty white mask that he dawns on his Halloween massacres.</div> <bR> <div> Myers was supposedly killed when his sister Laurie beheaded the monster in 1998.
