Before Watching:
The next sequence involves the characters visiting a DIY store.
i) What do you think they buy there ? What do they want them for ?
ii) What do you think they are they going to do with the body?
While Watching:
i) What do they buy?
ii) What do they decide during the shopping spree ?
Who says the following and what order are they in? :
- Look,if I draw the short straw, then I'll do it, but I'm not going to do it just because you won't
- Is that going to be deep enough?
- Family? Family? Friends? Drugged-up wandering suicidal search of the self fuck-ups don't have families
- Is this necessary ?
- Why don't we just draw lots for it ?
- All right then, here we are, and this is it. Do you want to play or not?
- But Juliet, you're a doctor - you kill people every day
After Watching
i) What did Alex say might "go off" ?
Role Play :
Imagine if you'd overheard Alex in the DIY store. What would you have done? Rung the police? Choose one of the following characters and roleplay this situation with your partner :
- Shopper : You were shopping to buy some paint to redecorate your flat when you overhear Alex and David talking. You decide to ring the police to report them.
- Police :You are tired after a long day. All day long people have been reporting false alarms - a burglary, an arson attack, a mugging - all hoaxes!
