Susan  Walters (Diane) - UPDATED
Susan Walters joined the cast of The Young and the Restless as Diane Jenkins in November of 2001.
Susan was born in Maryland and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
She previously starred opposite her husband, actor Linden Ashby, in the USA television series The War Next Door.
No stranger to daytime, Susan began her acting career in New York, playing the role of Lorna Forbes on the daytime drama series Loving. While working on Loving she met her husband, Linden. She later relocated to Los Angeles and starred in the series Hotel.
Susan had a starring role in the USA network original series The Big Easy and also starred as Priscilla Presley in the television miniseries Elvis and Me. She co-starred on the NBC series Dear John.
Some of her additional series credits include recurring roles on Family Law, Melrose Place and Seinfeld, as well as a guest starring role in the series Spy Games.
Susan has also starred in telefilms such as I Married A Monster, Texas Justice, The Brooklyn Contessa, In The Line Of Duty, Two Came Back, Horse Sense, Jumping Ship and the Lifetime television movie, Where The Truth Lies.
In addition to juggling a successful acting career and raising her family, Susan enjoys horseback riding, hiking, camping, traveling and jogging. Her birthday is September 28.
