Alex  Donnelley (ex-Diane)
In September 1996, Alex Donnelley rejoined the cast of The Young and the Restless as architect Diane Jenkins, following a 10-year character hiatus. Alex had previously portrayed Diane Jenkins on the series from 1982-1986.
Alex's television credits include guest-starring roles on Dallas, The Bob Hope Specials, Simon and Simon and Fantasy Island. She also appeared in the series Matt Houston and co-starred in the CBS television movie The Other Lover. She has appeared in the feature films Death Wish II, Love and Bullets and My Girl II.
Alex attended the University of Denver at age 16 and eventually earned a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Southern California. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany and later moved with her family to Lake Forest, Illinois where she grew up.
Alex spends most of her free time with her two daughters, Kate and Sean. She enjoys running, skiing and traveling.
Alex's birthday is August 13. She stands 5' 7" and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
