Christian  Jules  LeBlanc (Michael) - UPDATED
Christian Jules LeBlanc, who stars as attorney Michael Baldwin on The Young and the Restless, rejoined the cast of the CBS daytime drama in April 1997. He previously played the role from 1991 to 1993. In 1998, Christian was nominated for a Soap Opera Award in the category of Favorite Return. Christian was nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actor Daytime Emmy in 1999 and 2000.
Christian has appeared on the television programs Cheers, Gabriel's Fire and Perry Mason. He also had a recurring role on the series In the Heat of the Night and played Kirk McColl on the CBS daytime drama As the World Turns.
Christian's stage credits include Ladies in Retirement, in which he co-starred with the legendary actress Julie Harris, and No Orchids For Miss Blandish.
He graduated with honors from Tulane University, where he majored in ancient history and pre-med. He opted to pursue an acting career after he was offered a role in the PBS television series Edit Point.
Christian was born in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He is the second eldest of eight children whose father, retired Major Andre Victor LeBlanc, is a decorated veteran and winner of the Bronze Star.
Christian lives in Los Angeles with his two dogs. His hobbies include water skiing, swimming, racquetball and body surfing. He is an award-winning artist who is currently writing and illustrating his first children's book. He has also worked as a substitute teacher in the Los Angeles school district. Christian is a world traveller, whose journeys have taken him to Australia and the Middle East.
He stands 5' 10" tall and has brown hair and brown eyes. His birthday is August 25.
