Michael Myers has been released from a mental institution, despite adamant objections from his psychiatrist (Dr. Loomis). He has stolen a car, and made his way back to Haddonfield, to kill his sister (Laurie Strode), and he wont let anyone or anything get in his way. Laurie is in the hospital getting treatment, after her incredible ordeal, which leaves her in a state of shock, and Michael shot six times by Dr. Loomis, somehow walks away to continue his killing spree.
