heroic efforts of the personnel on board, Flight 243 was terminated with only one fatality.</div> <div> After a 13 month study of the incident aboard Flight 243, the National Transportation Safety Board has concluded that a number of factors, including metal fatigue contributed to the incident.</div> <div> Because of this incident, the airline industry has made significant changes in the
