Dream Saga

The beginning
(Part 1)

**Leaving The Bronze, a star filled night sky, shooting stars flying on
the dark velvet blanket of night. The redhaired woman makes her way past
the cemetry.

Sharing with us what he knows
The shining eyes are big and blue
And all around him water flows
This world to him is new
This world to him is new

He's born to shimmer
He's born to shine
He's born to radiate
He's born ro live
He's born to love
But we will teach him how to hate.

A twig snaps. She turns, stake in hand. Nothing. She continues on her
way but a man follows her hidden in the shadows. Stops again, turning
around, puzzled.

And this thing we call our time
I heard a brilliant woman say
She said you know
It's crazy how I want to try and
Catch your mind
I think I love this woman's way
I think I love this woman's-

The way she shimmers
The way she shines
The way she radiates
The way she lives
The way she loves
The way she never hates.

Night sings her deadly song. Turning to continue, the bleached blonde
figure stands in front of her. Suddenly silence, except for a racing
heartbeat. Looking each other down, longing. One, two, three steps
foward.

Sometimes I think of all this that
Surrounds me
And I know it all as being mine.
But she kisses me and
She wraps herself around me
And she gives me love
She gives me time
I feel fine.

But time I cannot change
So here's to looking back
You know I drink a whole bottle
Of my pride and I toast to change.
To keep these demons off my back
Just get these demons off my back.

Hands moving, touching. Warm and cold, heat and ice, good and bad.
Electricity rippling through the two. A step closer.

I want to shimmer
I want to shine
I want to radiate
I want to live
I want to love
I want to try and learn how not to hate.
Try not to hate.

They jump apart. A voice echos, never ending. "Daddy's been naughty Miss
Edith, he doesn't like his Princess anymore. He needs to be punished." A
deadly laugh.

We're born to shimmer
We're born to shine
We're born to radiate
We're born to live
We're born to love
We're born to never hate.**

Willow wakes up from her sleeping position on a sofa at The Bronze.
Everyone's eyes looking at her questionning. But all she can do is
wonder, think and daydream, as Spike wakes up at the same time from his
couch in a night club in LA. Wondering why the red headed witch, friend
of his enemy, fills his mind...

                          The Meeting
                            (Part 2)

**Words flashing, fingers typing, the light from the screen highlighting
the redhaired woman sitting in front of the screen.

You are my fire
The one desire
Believe when I say
I want it that way

Friends talking, laughing, joking. A hand idily running through the
masses of straight firery hair. Emerald green eyes blinking away the
sleep from within them, flowing through the veins of her body.

And we are two worlds apart
Can't reach to your heart
When you say
That I want it that way

The male figure stands in the gallery between the rows of books. He
listens, he watches, he dreams.

Tell me why
Ain't nothing but a party
Tell me why
Ain't nothing but a mistake
Tell me why
I never wanna hear you say
I want it that way

He moves. He's heard. He's seen. A look of surprise, annoyance, lust,
can been seen on the features and body of the woman.

Am I your fire?
Your one desire
Yes I know it's too late
But I want it that way.

It passes between them. A friend goes to defend her own, reluctance and
understanding stopping the evils of battle from happening.

Tell me why
Ain't nothing but a party
Tell me why
Ain't nothing but a mistake
Tell me why
I never wanna hear you say
I want it that way

No words exchanged, no need for human exchange, but of souls.

Now I can see
That we're falling apart
From the way
That it used to be.

His mind relents, turning to leave. Unanswered questions with unknown
answers. But actions percieved from the woman's protectors forcing him
back into the night.

No matter the distance
I want you to know
That deep down
Inside of me.

You are my fire
The one desire.**

Willow and Spike awaken, both with friends and allies chatting all
around them, leaving them to ponder over their dreams.

                           The Dance
                            (Part 3)

**Lights flashing, music playing and heartbeats racing. A woman standing
in the middle of the room, hips swaying to the music.

Feel like I've been locked up tight
For centuries of loneliness
Waiting for someone
To release me
Your looking at me
And blowing kisses my way
But that don't mean i'm gonna give it away
Baby, baby, baby.

Oh-oh-oh
My body's sayin' lets go
Oh-oh-oh
But my heart's sayin' no, no

Firery red hair flying around her face, green eyes sparkling brightly. A
short leather dress clinging to her moving body. Eyes shut savouring the
atmosphere. A man enters the room.

If you wanna be with me
Baby there's a price to pay
I'm a genie in a bottle
You gotta rub me the right way
If you wanna be with me
I can make your wish come true
You gotta make a big impression
Gotta like what you do.

Longing and confidence radiating off his face, he walks over to the
figure. One arm slips lazily around her waist as he circles her body. He
stands behind her and starts to dance along to the beat.

Music's playing and the lights down low
Just one more dance
And then I've gotta go
Waiting for someone
Who needs me
Hormones racing at the speed of light
But that don't mean it's gotta be tonight
Baby, baby, baby.

Mood turns more passionate, more heated. The woman opens her eyes,
turns. She places both his arms on her waist and shoves herself up
against him. Arms around his neck, stroking, caressing. Lips brush
against his.

Oh-oh-oh
My body's sayin' lets go
Oh-oh-oh
But my heart's sayin' no, no

If you wanna be with me
Baby there's a price to pay
I'm a genie in a bottle
You gotta rub me the right way
If you wanna be with me
I can make your wish come true
Just come and set me free baby
And i'll be with you.

She slips from his hold and starts to walk. His arms reaches out taking
hers, fingers tracing up her arm, feather like movements. Catches her
hand, places it over his cheek. Turning she kisses him, letting her
tongue travel over his lips and as his mouth opens, she pulls away
moving towards the door and fades into the night.

Oh-oh-oh
My body's sayin' lets go
Oh-oh-oh
But my heart's sayin no, no

If you wanna be with me
Baby there's a price to pay
I'm a genie in a bottle
You gotta rub me the right way
If you wanna be with me
I can make your wish come true
You gotta make a big impression
Gotta like what you do.**

Willow awakens startled, in front of the computer her mail box informing
her that something lies within it. Miles away a bleached blonde vampire
awakens in a cold sweat. And both minds bewildered.

                            The Kiss
                            (Part 4)

**A red-haired woman walking. An arm reaching out, grabbing her by the
waist, into an alley.

Any time I need to see your face
I just close my eyes
And I am taken to a place where
Your crystal mind and
Magenta feelings take up shelter
in the base of my spine
Sweet like a chic-a-cherry cola

Struggling in the grasp. The man pulls her around, leaning to catch a
stolen, first kiss.

I don't need to try and explain
I just hold on tight
And if it happens again, I might just move
So slightly
To the arms and the lips and the face
Of the human cannonball
That I need to, I want to

Lips touching, responding, exploring. Passion. The kiss deepens.

Come stand a little bit closer
Breathe in and get a bit higher
You'll never know what hit you
When I get to you.

A prick of pain in her bottom lip. The taste of blood in her mouth. The
man runs his tongue over her bleeding lip. A rush of pleasure.

Ooh, I want you
I don't know if I need you
But, ooh, i'd die to find out
Ooh, I want you
I don't know if I need you
But, ooh, i'd die to find out

Feelings appearing, soaring. The bleached blonde man caressing her neck
with feather like kisses.

I'm the kind of person who endorses
A deep commitment
Getting comfy getting perfect
Is what I live for
But a look, then a smell of perfume
It's like i'm down on the floor
And I don't know what i'm in for

Bodies, feelings, souls entwining. Two becoming one for the briefest of
moments.

Conversation has a time and a place
In the interaction of a lover and
A mate,
But the time of talking,
Using symbols, using words
Can be likened to a deep sea diver
Who is swimming with a raincoat

The woman's friend closes in on them shouting from the street. "
Willow!" The entwined two stare into each others eyes, before he lets
her show her hiding place.

Come stand a little bit closer
Breathe in and get a bit higher
You'll never know what hit you
When I get to you.**

Willow wakes up her head in a book, lying on the table. While Spike
awakens from sleep as the sun sets. Both tasting the touch on their lips
and re-dreaming it all over again.

                            The Sin
                            (Part 5)

**A balcony, the entrance to the room draped with large velvet blue
curtains, tied back revealing soft candle light and music. Violins
playing low and the full moon out, reflected on the shimmering waters of
the lake in the grounds, just in sight.

It's amazing how you can speak
Right to my heart.
Without saying a word
You can light up the dark.
Try as I may I can never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing.

A woman lying asleep in the four poster bed in the centre of the room,
light breaths, some in time with the music, some not. Blue silk sheets
wrapped around her dressing gown clad body.

The smile on your face
Lets me know that you need me.
There's a truth in your eyes
Saying you'll never leave me.
The touch of your hand says
You'll catch me were ever I fall.
You say it best
When you say nothing at all.

A man enters the room from the door on the left and makes his way over
to the woman, gently sitting on the side of the bed, he plays with her
soft wild red hair. She awakens at his touch and smiles an innocent
smile. He smiles back as her hand strokes his face and blonde hair.

All day long I can hear
People talking out loud.
But when you hold me near
You drown out the crowd.
Try as they may
They can never define.
What's been said
Between your heart and mine.

He moves into to kiss her and she draws him towards her, as the kiss
deepens, a roar is heard outside the balcony as a heartbroken werewolf
cries and howls to the moon...

The smile on your face
Lets me know that you need me.
There's a truth in your eyes
Saying you'll never leave me.
The touch of your hand says
You'll catch me were ever I fall.
You say it best
When you say nothing at all.**

... Willow and Spike jump up out of slumber at the same time and sharing
identical expressions of confusion and longing, they lull themselves
back to slumber and dreams.

                         The Aftermath
                            (Part 6)

**Knock at the door. A red-haired woman answers, taking the huge boquet
of red from the messenger. Red everywhere, the floral scent entering
each one of her senses.

The moonlight...
Shines down interstellar beams
And the groove tonight
Is something more that you've ever
seen
The stars and planets taking shape
A stolen kiss has come too late

A short message of love and promises. Banishing doubts with unspoken
words. Another knock at the door.

In the moonlight
Carry on, keep romancing
Carry on, carry one dancing
In the moonlight
Carry on, keep romancing
Carry on, carry one dancing

A bleached blonde man stands at the door, holding a single white rose.
He kisses her hand, placing the white in the midist of the red.

You're never safe 'till you see the
dawn
And if the clock strikes past midnight
The hope is gone
To move under...

She invites him in, pausing to thank him with a sweet kiss. Innocence,
beauty and inexperience oozing from every gesture.

The moonlight
In the moonlight
Carry on, keep romancing
Carry on, carry one dancing
In the moonlight
Carry on, keep romancing
Carry on, carry one dancing

Holding as they enter the kitchen, admiring the other as new lovers do.

...Move. Closer. Passion. Stronger

There's a magic only two can tell
In the dark night
Ultra violet is a wicked spell
The stars and planets taking shape
A stolen kiss has come too late

A voice calls from upstairs. The woman leads him out into the night
silencing him with a bittersweet explanatory kiss full of unfufilled
longing. Before he disappears.

In the moonlight
Carry on, keep romancing
Carry on, carry one dancing
In the moonlight
Carry on, keep romancing
Carry on, carry one dancing

Moving on... Moving all night.**

Willow wakes up as her alarm bell rings, the night's dream still fresh
in her mind holding feelings, as a vampire named Spike lulls himself
back into sleep with images of the other.

                           The Secret
                            (Part 7)

**The Bronze. A red-haired woman, laughing, joking with friends. A
bleached-blonde vampire enters. Walking, over to the group.

Baby, i'm so into you
You got that something
What can I do
Baby, you spin me around
The Earth is moving
But I can't feel the ground
Everytime you look at me
My heart is jumpin'
It's easy to see.

The two exchange glances. Secrets, smiles, shining eyes. Teasing, with
an unknown relationship, an unknown bond.

You drive me crazy
I just can't sleep
I'm so excited
I'm into deep
Crazy,
But it feels alright
Baby, baby
Lovin' you keeps me up all night

They touch, stirring up feelings. A touch full of innocence but of
longing.

Tell me, you're so into me
That i'm the only
One you will see
Tell me, i'm not in the blue
That i'm not wastin'
My feelings on you
Everytime I look at you
My heart is jumpin'
What can I do

A friend moves, gesturing for him to follow. He follows her, a last
longing glance at the firey haired woman. A smile.

You drive me crazy
I just can't sleep
I'm so excited
I'm into deep
Crazy
But it feels so right
Baby, baby
Lovin' you keeps me up all night**

Willow wakes up in front of her desk as Spike wakes up in front of his.
Both wearing teasing smiles and stare out of the window, going to the
land of daydreams.

                            The Love
                            (Part 8)

**A redhaired woman, lying on the bed. Sleeping. The bleached-blonde man
next to her stares at her sleeping figure.

I could stay awake
Just to hear you breathin'
Watch you smile
While you are sleepin'
While you're far away
And dreamin'

Velvet curtains, dancing in the breeze. He caresses her hair, the mass
of fire.

I could spend my life
In this sweet surrender
I could stay lost in this moment
Forever
Every moment I spend with you
Is a moment I treasure

Stirring. He whispers the most three delicate, beautiful, emotional
words known.

I don't want to close my eyes
I don't want to fall asleep
Cause I miss you baby
And I don't want to miss a thing
Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream
Will never do
I'd still miss you
And I don't want to miss a thing

She replies with the same words and a kiss. His face is serious, and he
wraps his arms  around her.

Lyin' close to you
Feelin' you heart beatin'
And I wonderin' what you're dreamin'
Wondering if it's me you're seein'
Then I kiss you're eyes
And thank god we're together
I just wanna stay with you
In this moment
Forever and ever

Love filling her eyes, a question they dare not utter hangs in the
breeze.

I don't want to close my eyes
I don't want to fall asleep
Cause I miss you baby
And I don't want to miss a thing
Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream
Will never do
I'd still miss you
And I don't want to miss a thing

The dream not wanting to end. She sleeps.

I don't want to miss one smile
And I don't want to miss one kiss
And I just want to be with you
Right here with you
Just like this
I just want to hold you close
And feel you're heart
So close to mine
And just stay here in this moment
For the rest of time.

Pausing, eyes shutting, sleep drifting into his body. The rest of the
world blanked out.

I don't want to close my eyes
I don't want to fall asleep
Cause I miss you baby
And I don't want to miss a thing
Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream
Will never do
I'd still miss you
And I don't want to miss a thing**

Willow and Spike wake as the clock chimes twelve. They reach for the
other, but no-one is there, sadly one sleeps on while the other goes to
fulfill their life's pattern.

                         The Admitance
                            (Part 9)

**A red-haired woman entering the room, hands linked with a bleached-
blonde man. Smiles, hidding nerves. United.

I'll be your dream
I'll be your wish I'll be your fantasy
I'll be your hope I'll be your love
Be everything that you need
I'll love you more with every breath
Truly, madly, deeply do
I will be strong I will be faithful
'Cause I'm counting on

A group sitting in the corner, drinking, dancing. A look, exchanged,
willing each other on. Walking.

A new beginning
A reason for living
A deeper meaning

I want to stand with you on
A mountain
I want to bathe with you in the sea
I want to lay like this forever
Until the sky falls down on me

The group, looks of astonishment, confusion, annoyance. A friend goes to
protect her. Without understanding. The woman, an action, proving,
soothing.

And when the stars are shining
Brightly in the velvet sky,
I'll make a wish to send it to heaven
Then make you want to cry
The tears of joy for all the
Pleasure in the certainty
That we're surrounded by the
Comfort and protection of

The highest powers
In lonely hours
The tears devour you

Greetings given, feelings hidden. The two take to the dance floor.

I want to stand with you on
A mountain
I want to bathe with you in the sea
I want to lay like this forever
Until the sky falls down on me

Dancing, dreaming, holding. Public affection. Admitance of feelings. Out
in the open. The two sway to the music. No-one else exists.

Oh can you see it baby?
You don't have to close your eyes
'Cause it's standing right here
Before you
All that you need will surely come

A friend pulls the woman over to one side. Questionning. She wares a
look of friendship, of caring, of a need to know the truth.

I'll be your dream I'll be your wish
I'll be your fantasy
I'll be your hope I'll be your love
Be everything that you need
I'll love you more with every breath
Truly, madly, deeply, do

She speaks with gestures, and answers doubts. The man leaves, thirst
overcoming his senses. A kiss is shared, before he goes out into the
night.

I want to stand with you on
A mountain
I want to bathe with you in the sea
I want to lay like this forever
Until the sky falls down on me.**

Willow wakes up to find that she has dozed off on a blanket on the
beach. Her friends, laughing and eating around her. A fire is burning
nearby. Spike wakes at the same time to find himself in his chair ontop
of his apartment building. They both share feelings of happiness and of
a weight lifted, as they gaze at the stars in the velvet sky.

                           The Affair
                           (Part 10)

**A woman. Walking into the lightly coloured room. Deep red roses
scattered. Everywhere. Violins singing. She smiles.

It's the hardest thing
I'll ever have to do
To look you in the eye
And tell you I don't love you

Smiles disappear. Clothes scattered around the bed. Heart beat
increases, anger surfaces, embarassment gives way to hatred. She walks
to the bed.

It's the hardest thing
I'll ever have to lie
To show no emotion
When you start to cry

Life and love. Conclealed under the covers. Drifting away from her,
reaching but not catching. A small cry escapes her lips. A bleached
blonde man shoots up straight.

I can't let you see
What you mean to me
When my hands are tied
And my heart's not free
We're not meant to be

Terror flashes across her face. A moving figure between the deep blue
silk sheets stirs. The figure's identity is known and is forever printed
in the woman's mind. The figure smiles, "Daddy's been punished and he's
played with his princess."

It's the hardest thing
I'll ever have to do
To turn around and walk away
Pretending I don't love you

The man moves towards her, letting the sheets slip. This body, full of
broken promises. Screaming out the lovers it's had. Mocking to a fault.

I know that we'll meet again
Fate has a place
So you can get on with your life
I've got to be cruel to be kind
Like Dr. Zhivago

Black, bitter explanations pouring fourth. Trying to say the right
thing, ignored. Shaking her head, denial, questions, astonishment.Eyes
flash.

All my love I'll be sending
And you will never know
'Cause there can be no happy ending

A sudden flash of fiery red hair is the only thing seen as she runs from
the room. Leaving the demon to howl over forbidden love.

It's the hardest thing
I'll ever have to do
To look you in the eye
And tell you I don't love you**

... Willow awakens in bed. Tears spilling from her eyes, these tears
shared as Spike awakens in his own bed. Full of guilt the vampire, takes
a picture. Worn with use from beneath his pillow. He makes a promise
before falling back to sleep as an upset hacker falls back to sleep. The
only remembrant of the dream, is the tear wrung faces.

                           The Death
                           (Part 11)

**A woman walking home, tears falling from her face. A demon, following
her, un-noticed. A bleached blonde man walking the other way.

You took me higher
Than I've ever been
Now that we're strangers
I've come down again
Back to the real world
Back to the real world
Back to the ground
Not high above it
Without your loving
Now I'm Earthbound

Mind full of crushing, heartfelt memories. Never noticing the demon as
he grabs hold of her. Until it's too late.

Because your love
It lifted me above it all
Without it, it's leaving me
So far to fall
I hope you find
What you're looking for
I never thought there could be anymore

The man walking the other way. Deep in identical thoughts. Sees the
demon draining away her sweet, innocent life. The fiery red hair giving
away her identity.

But if you really have to go
You take the high
I'll take the low
But when you leave me
Don't you know
You leave me earthbound

He screams, he runs, he cries. The demon drops her. Her eyes, looking up
at him. Life as precious as it is, slipping away.

You took me higher
Than I've ever been
Now that we're strangers
I've come down again
Back to the real world
Back to the real world
Back to the ground
Not high above it
Up where the love is
Now I'm Earthbound

The three soulful words, spoke but days ago. Leave her lips. Echoing her
words. A soothing voice, promises, words, gush fourth as from a
fountain.

Because we used to say
We were far away
Cause our love
It took us to another place
And it's so hard
For me to face

Last smile, last glance, last words, last kiss, last breath. He cries to
the unforgiving night.

But if you really have to go
You take the high
I'll take the low
But when you leave me
Don't you know
You leave me earthbound.**

Willow wakes up, from her seat on the bus next to her friends. The night
just appearing, as a vampire called Spike wakes up as the sun sets to
the call of his hunger. Hunger for blood, hunger for love. Both feel a
loss, before shaking off the realness of the dream.
                            The Gift
                           (Part 12)

**Gazing down at the red-haired woman in his arms. Willing her to take
his gift, begging.

I've been down this road
Walking the line
That's painted by crime
And I have made
Mistakes in my life
That I, I just can't hide

Her body moves. Ever so slightly underneath the moonlight. With tear
shut eyes, he doesn't notice. No breath, no colour, but life.

I believe I am ready
For what love has to bear
I've got myself together
Now I'm ready to sing

I've been searching my soul tonight
I know there's so much more to life
Now I know I can shine a light
To find my way back home

She whispers his name, raising her hand to wipe away the tears. The
tears that have escaped.

One by one
The chains around me unwind
Everyday now
I feel that I
Can leave those years behind
I've been thinking of you
For a long time
There's a side of my life
Where I've been blind
And so

Her touch stirs him from his morning. Thanks escapes her lips as she
kisses him.

I've been searching my soul tonight
I know there's so much more to life
Now I know I can shine a light
Everything gonna be alright

Ecstacy drifts into his body. As the one thing he cannot live without
returns to him. Blessing the dark gift, the dark gift that has cursed
his life and brought joy to his life. As only it can.

I've been searching my soul tonight
Don't want to be your lonely light
Now I know I can shine a light
To find my way back home.

Two lovers walk, hand-in-hand, to begin an eternity of life forever. As
love carries on and neither notices the young woman standing in the
shadows, her white hair shimmering around her face. As she blows them a
kiss and walks away.

Maybe I've been holding back now
My whole life
I've decided to move on now
Gonna leave all the worries behind

I've been searching my soul tonight
I know there's so much more to life
Now I know I can shine a light
Everything gonna be alright**

Willow awakens in the library, a book open to the page labelled the
"Wish dreamer." And Spike awakens to a ringing telephone, where a slayer
calls to ask him for help, and a trip to his soulmate.

Back to Willow/Spike
