Buffy stuffed another candy from the bowl in front of her into her mouth. They were sitting in Willow's living room, eating candies. Willow sighed, that was beginning to be a habit, "No! And it's so frustrating, you know?" "Maybe Giles has found the prophecy we want by now, should we phone him?" "Yeah, I guess--no, I don't live too far away from his house, so maybe we should walk over there?" Willow stood up from her couch. "Why not? It's Saturday and we have nothing to do." Buffy grabbed her shoes, "Let's go." ********************* "Yes, I believe I have found the prophecy, Buffy, tell me if you think this relates to Willow's situation. "The Prophecy of The Wicked, On the eve of that planetary alignment, the darkness shall seek out the light and as the planets unalign, the light and the darkness shall be bonded for eternity by a force that compells one to be with the other at all times, creating a desire to reunite whenever they are separated." "Yep, sounds pretty familiar, right Willow?" "Um, too familiar Buffy. D--do you know who the darkness is? Or am I? Then who's the light?" Willow babbled, chewing on her lip. "Slow down! I'm thinking you're the Light, cuz, innocence and all? But we still need to find the Darkness." "Buffy's right, do you think the pull you feel could lead you to him?" Giles asked. "Probably, but I'm experiencing major butterflies at the moment," Willow continued to chew on her lip, deep in thought. "No problem, we'll be with you, right Giles?" "Of course, but we should call the others for backup." "Good idea, anyways, start exercising that honing device!" Buffy smiled, but her unease showed through. "Yeah, I will." Willow gave a sickly smile and relaxed against the chair she was sitting in. ********************** Spike gave a frustrated groan. "What's eating you?" Spike's oldest and most familiar minion, Darren, looked up from the book he was reading. "That girl last night? You know, I told you about 'er, well, anyways, I think she was the one from the prophecy." "Really? Did you get a look at her?" "No, it was too dark, and before I could get any closer, she turned and ran like the devil 'imself was at 'er heels!" "But why do you think she's the prophecy girl?" "Because when I saw 'er, and was standing close to 'er, the pull I'm always feeling disappeared!" Spike was waving his hands around. "Do you think she'll try to find you?" "Probably, with my bad luck, she'll be the Slayer's friend!" Darren laughed. ********************* "Getting closer?" Buffy whispered loudly into Willow's ear. Willow shrieked. "Buffy! Don't do that!" She hissed. "Will you just concentrate on finding this person?" Giles muttered impatiently. "Wait!" Willow stopped suddenly. "What?" The rest asked, holding their breaths. "He's very close, the pull is really strong here." "Can you pinpoint him?" Giles shuffled closer. "No!" Willow moaned in frustration, "He keeps moving around!" "Well, just keep trying to follow him." Cordelia urged. "Okay, but I can't promise I'll find him!" Willow warned. "Whatever." Xander said, waiting for Willow to keep moving. ******************* "Damn it girl! Stand still!" Spike burst out, after he'd been trying to trace the pull. "She's probably trying to find you!" Darren commented. "So I stand still and wait for the Slayer to come along? No thank you!" "Man, you're irritating!" Darren grumbled and trudged after Spike as he started moving again. ******************* "He's close, I mean, really close!" Willow started to get excited and the pull was strong enough to make her legs move without her thinking about it. ******************* "She's very, very near me, I can tell!" Spike smiled at the thought of seeing this girl who'd haunted his dreams at night and every waking moment. ******************* Willow and Spike turned the corner and bumped into each other at the same time. "Spike??????" "Willow?????" "What the fuck?" Buffy gasped. End 3/? How'd ya like that one, huh?
