Dedication: To everyone! ************* Willow didn't have time to react as a hard body knocked her back and slammed her into a tree. The weight was soon lifted, however as Spike, with a roar of rage, lifted Angelus off of Willow and threw him across the clearing. By then, Buffy, knowing she couldn't do anything to stop this, Giles and the rest had left. They knew it was up to Willow and Spike now. Willow was only dazed for a moment and soon, she was on her feet and racing towards where Angelus had Spike by the throat. Willow growled and raked her nails across his cheek and throat, hoping to distract him enough for Spike to get free. It worked, but Angelus then reached back and gripped Willow by the hair violently. His wrist was not quite near enough for Willow to be able to bite it, but using her enhanced abilities and doing her best to ingore the pain in her scalp, she pushed her head forward and clamped down onto his wrist, biting as hard as she could. Angelus roared in pain, letting go of Willow and grasping his wrist, blood flowing down and over his hands and arms. *I bit into his vein!* Willow thought contentedly. *I could get used to this violence stuff, it's fun.* Spike, taking advantage of Angelus' situation, jumped onto his back and forced him to the ground. Angelus allowed himself to be pushed down, but then swung his uninjured arm back and smashed it into Spike's nose. Spike snarled as blood gushed out in pulsing waves. Willow had been waiting for an opportunity to get at Angelus and thought now was the perfect time. *Sorry Spike!* She picked up a branch lying not too far away and swung it full force at Angelus' head. Angelus turned and swiftly caught the heavy branch, knocking Willow off balance. He caught Willow as she fell and let her small weight tumble them both to the ground. Rolling on top of her, he grabbed her throat and started to apply pressure. Spike, no longer caring about the blood or the ache in his nose, leapt up from the ground and caught sight of Willow being strangled. She was struggling uselessly as her body was pinned beneath Angelus'. Fury blinded Spike momentarily but then he shook his head and ran towards his sire. Angelus could feel the power coursing through him. It was like a tidal wave of heat and energy. Too bad he had to kill this red-headed witch, she would've made a wonderful vampire. His thoughts were interrupted though, as Spike barreled into him, causing him to lose his grip on Willow and to fall sideways into the ground. Willow, who had just began to lose consciousness at the lack of oxygen to her brain gasped and choked, trying to fill her empty lungs. Everything seemed to hurt, but she knew she had to finish what had started. She got up and headed towards the two vampires who were currently locked in a deadly embrace. Spike's fist landed with a satisyfing crack on Angelus' upturned face but it didn't last long as Angelus quickly recovered and flipped them over so he was sitting on Spike's chest and abdomen. He rained blows on Spike's face as Spike was helpless to stop him. Willow knew that she couldn't break them up, so she closed her eyes and started to chant softly. A feeling of power ran through her and into the air before her. When she opened her eyes, a ball of pure energy about the size of a baseball crackled and shimmered in front of her eyes. Summoning all her strength, Willow hurled it towards Angelus and watched as it made contact and sent Angelus flying through the air and crashing into a tree. Spike shook off the pain and got up, smiling slightly at his mate before stalking towards Angelus' dazed and prone form lying at the base of a tree. *Time to finish it.* ****************** End
