My cousin Jimmy was working on his own site. A video game site. I told him how interested I was in making a site and I asked him if later, he could show me how. And he did. We used Yahoo! Geocities. My site was a one page site with three pictures on it. One of Britney Spears, Kate Winslet and Gillian Anderson. I called it BKG site. It began to expand as I got better at my craft. I added a news section and an about me page. I learned lots of new techniques in web page building and soon my site grew. It grew from a simple one pager too tons of pages. A page dedicated to each; Britney, Kate and Gill. I decided to add a fourth person and went on a search. I chose Angelina Jolie. But after a bit it didn't work out and I exchanged her for Neve Campbell. That too didn't work out. So I realized I needed someone I already  knew about and kind of admired. So I chose Ricki Lake. SO from BKG site, to BKGA site and JAWS (Jolie, Anderson, Winslet and Spears) back to BKG site, my site grew and kept growing, and so did the hits.</div> <bR> <div> Next, my site needed a remodeling. I had used so many textured backgrounds and colors it was funny. SO our first big layout change and remodeling took place. I expanded the site with  personal pictures, more about me, links, for sale, awards and writings. I added my stories and much more. I would soon find out my site was growing faster than Geocities could hold it. I needed a better site. Geocities didn't have the tools I needed to make my site look proffesional enough to meet my perfectionist standards. I went on a search for a web hosting company that would have what I needed. I found it with Trellix Web. (Which I would recommend with anyone) I began work on my site. By this time my website had changed its name so many times, I didn't really know what it was called. It didn't have a name. (BKG site, JAWS, Tim's Website) SO thankfully, the talented Gillian Anderson did something I was hoping for.  She wrote and directed and X-Files episode called "All Things." It was perfect. I had "all things" on my site. Entertainment, Celebrities, Movies, Music and TV. With so many different sections and things to offer it was a dream come true. And with the addition of "The Golden Girls" and "Designing Women" sections we became ALL THINGS. </div> <bR> <div> Lot's more would be added to all things too. Some sections would servive and other's would retire. Like the Awards section for instance. It didn't last throught the many updates. Nor did the Will & Grace section. (Still one of my favorite shows, although) My site kept growing and expanding and then I added someone else. Anastacia Newkirk. She has made it through two updates and will be on this site for a long time. After another layout change and once more we changed the name to: All Things ONLINE. You may wonder why I am even writing the history of this site and your probably only reading this because your bored. My site is one of my favorite hobbies and my largest goal with it is not to express myself with it but to get excepted to a search engine and make a site people like to come to and see what's going on. And so as AllThingsONLINE first year comes to close without being on a search engine. I look and smile when I see almost 2000 hits and counting. Someone must like it. And it gives me the ability to go on. I hope you all enjoy this site and all the hard work I put into it. And I want to thank all those other sites out there. Who give me inspiration to make my site the best .
