Wedded Bliss - UPDATED
Although the Forresters liked Macy at first, they did not want their son to marry business rival Sally Spectra's daughter. Still, Macy and Thorne went ahead with their wedding plans, and decided to tie the knot on October 23, 1990, Macy's birthday.
At the last moment, Thorne's father, Eric, and his sister, Felicia, showed up at the wedding. His older brother, Ridge, participated in the wedding as Thorne's best man. Their mother Stephanie also showed up, unbeknown to Thorne.
When Macy entered the church, she and Thorne sang Here And Now.
After a divorce and other relationships, Macy and Thorne found love again, and decided to remarry in 1995.
However, just as they were about to say their vows, the police came into the church and arrested Thorne for killing former girlfriend Ivana.
As it turned out, Anthony, who was in love with Macy, murdered Ivana and framed Thorne. With Macy's brave help, the truth came out, and the charges against Thorne were dropped!
The two finally remarried later that year!
In the reception, Macy had a special surprise for Thorne. Having suffered from cancer, Macy didn't know if she could ever sing again. Luckily, right before her wedding, the doctor told her she can indeed sing again.
So, after becoming Mrs. Thorne Forrester again, Macy went up on stage and started singining Always to Thorne. A happily surprised Thorne came up on stage and joined Macy in a duet!
After her second marriage to Thorne failed, Macy feared entering a relationship with her new co-worker at Spectra, Grant Chambers.
Slowly but surely, she fell in love with the handsome designer. The two bought the Insomnia, which gave Macy plenty of opportunities to dedicate songs to Grant.
Finally, they decided to get married!
They gathered their friends and family at the Insomnia in 1998, telling them they're invited to a party. After Macy sang to Grant, he announced they were getting married right then and there!
Macy and Grant's happy days were short, as he passed away from cancer a few short month after marrying Macy. His last wish for Macy was for her to be happy with Thorne.
Although she first resisted, Macy renewed her relationship with Thorne in 1999.
Thorne took Macy to the Cafe Ruse to propose to her in an original way. He ordered oysters for both of them. He had a ring hidden in one of the oysters, hoping Macy would find it during dinner. As Macy finnished her dinner, and found no ring, Thorne called the waiter, while another man in the restaurant started choking. Thorne immediately came to his rescue, using the Heimlich, and a diamond ring popped out of his mouth, into a wine glass! Thorne cleaned the ring and proposed to Macy!
Although meaning to accept, Macy wished to talk to her family first.
During that time, Thorne had been spending a lot of time with his long-time friend, Brooke, and the two fell in love.
Because of family pressure and his mother's health condition, Thorne almost remarried Macy at the end of 1999, when his younger brother Rick renewed his vows to wife Amber.
Thinking his new fiancee, Brooke, cheated on him with his older brother, Ridge, Thorne proposed to Macy in Venice, where she came to warn him one last time that Brooke would eventually hurt him. Thorne promised Macy he would never hurt or leave her again, and the two reunited in 2000. Several month later, Macy found out the true reason Thorne married her. She started drinking again, and after one last dinner and a dance with Thorne, and a fight with Brooke, she got into the car crush in July 2000.
