"When I'm Singing, I feel Like I'm Flying"
- Bobbie Eakes
On The Bold and the Beautiful, Macy sang a lot in The Bikini Bar, in the early and mid 90s. There, she was discoeverd by a record company:
Accidentally giving them a tape of her and Thorne singing together (instead of her singing alone), the record company insisted either Macy and Thorne sign a record deal together, or the deal is off. After some work, Macy managed to convince Thorne, and the two recorded an album and were getting ready to their concert overseas:
On the meanwhile, co-stars Bobbie and Jeff Trachta (then-Thorne), joined wonderful singing forces, and recorded a duets album - Bold And Beautiful Duets. The album was Bobbie's second, as she recorded an album called Big Trouble with her band, Big Trouble, back in the 80s:
Bobbie and Jeff went on a concert in Amsterdam. Co-stars John McCook (Eric) and Darlene Conley (Sally) joined them. Another person to join the fun was B&B's Executive Producer / Head Writer, Bradley Bell. Seeing fans' reaction, he decided to rewrite a planned storyline, and had Bobbie and Jeff's concert filmed and air as Macy and Thorne's B&B concert:
Bobbie and Jeff went on and released a second album together in 1996, Bold and Beautiful Duets II:
When fans bought the CD, they found a surprise inside - Bobbie and Jeff thanked their fans - in hand-written short letters!
BOBBIE:
"I'm so glad to have this opportunity to sing these songs for you. I hope you enjoy them - they come straight from the heart!
"Love,
"Bobbie Eakes,
"'Macy'"
JEFF:
"Making this album was an incredible experience for me. Hopefully our music will bring love to your life!
"Love,
"Jeff Trachta,
'"Thorne'"

Bobbie once said the albums she recorded with Jeff were in style of their B&B characters, Macy and Thorne. She said that when she'll do a solo album, she'd record a different kind of songs - a country album! And she did it! In 1998, Bobbie released her first solo album, Here And Now:
On B&B, Macy and Grant Chambers bought the Insomnia Coffee in 1997, and Macy started singing there:

Currently, Bobbie is working on a second solo album. She already released two singles: A duet with famous country singer Collin Raye, Tired Of Loving This Way, and a solo song, The Last Day On Earth:
