ROBERT WAGNER

(Older No. 2)

Robert Wagner had long enjoyed the popularity and longevity of the entertainment media, and he got a long list of film and TV credits to prove it. His first foray into movies was a very brief appearance in the 1950 flick "The Happpy Years." From then on, he appeared in legions of movies and TV programs, performing with cinema greats such as Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire.

Though he appeared in movie classics such as "The Longest Days" (1962), people mostly remembered Robert Wagner from his days as Jonathan Hart in the popular TV series "Hart to Hart" which ran from 1979 to 1984. In 1993, he reprised the role of Jonathan Hart in the TV special "Hart to Hart Returns," with others following in subsequent years until 1996.

Robert Wagner showed movie-goers that he could do comedy too, by signing on to do the 1997 hit, "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery." He played the role of Number 2, the right hand man of the sinister but out of touch, Dr. Evil. He will again reprise that role in the sequel, "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me."
