REVIEW BY:
Mike Myers is something of a one-joke wonder (Wayne's World, various Saturday Night Live skits), but when the joke is a good one--as it is here--he's just plain wonderful. Austin Powers, cryogenically frozen '60s go-go spy, warms up in our decade hilariously out of sync, spewing archaic slang. The art direction and musical interludes are straight out of Shindig, by way of Ian Fleming. The cameos simply rock--even Tom Arnold is good! Austin Powers? He came, he thawed, he conquered.
