'Blondie' on  November 12th, 1968 for Universal and played 'Karate Instructor Yoto'.  The episode was entitled 'Pick On A Bully Your Own Size'.</FONT></div> <bR> <div> <B>Scenario :-</B></div> <bR> <div> The family's son (Dagwood Bumstead) is being bullied by a transfer student so his father sends him to karate lessons.  We then see the following sign :-</div> <bR> <div> "Karate Instruction - Free Coffee"</div> <bR> <div> Bruce performs some martial arts with yells! He then stops and bows.</div> <bR> <div> Bruce says, 'And now you try, Mr Bumstead'. (Bruce looking around), 'Mr Bumstead?'</div> <bR> <div> Dagwood Bumstead is eating cookies and drinking coffee from a free lunch cart. He is wearing a karate gi.</div> <bR> <div> Bruce then says 'Mr Bumstead, You are not paying attention!'</div> <bR> <div> Dagwood, with his mouth full, replies, 'I'm sorry, Mr Yoto. I didn't stop for dinner. I'll be with you in a minute'.</div> <bR> <div> Bruce angrily, 'Not in a minute. NOW!!'</div> <bR> <div> Bruce smashes the wooden cart with his hand crumbling it and the food to the floor. Dagwood is shaken and looks petrified.</div> <bR> <div> Dagwood, 'Can i swallow what's in my mouth?'</div> <bR> <div> Bruce, 'Quickly'.</div> <bR> <div> Dagwood swallows the remaining cookies and asks 'Tasty cookies but they are tough. What are they?'</div> <bR> <div> Bruce replies, 'Octopus Fudge Brownies'. Dagwood turns a colour.</div> <bR> <div> Bruce, 'Now we try. You do the same thing i show you'.</div> <bR> <div> Yoto takes a karate stance. Dagwood takes the same stance. Yoto begins to move around the room, jumping back and forth, slashing the air with his hands and feet. Dagwood, right behind Yoto, awkwardly imitates his every motion. </div> <bR> <div> Dagwood slashing the air with his hands. Yoto nodding his approval but correcting the angle of one of Dagwood's hands. </div> <bR> <div> Dagwood watches Yoto set up three thick planks of wood. Yoto then drives the side of his hand through the planks, breaking them in half. He gestures for Dagwood to try it next. Yoto sets up three planks of wood. Dagwood shakes his head and removes two of them. Yoto nods, annoyed. </div> <div>  </div> <div> Dagwood is doing a series of karate moves much more gracefully.
