Sherwood Fans UNITE!
It has come to my attention that as of late we have been insulted immensely in the Newsgroup and IRC chat for being "hormonal." It is time for us to unite and share why we love Scotty and not let them think it's because we're too high on estrogen!
Another criticism is that it is ridiculous to have a fan club for just a character on the show and not for the actor who plays him. Let it be known that the day we created the fan club I personally mailed Kevin O'Rourke telling him all about it and requesting an interview at his convenience. Why this is a fan club primarily for Scotty; well, you tell me and the newsgroup! Personally, I feel it is because it is easier to talk about a character and the show than a person's real life; you have leeway and creative ability and people just love it.
Sherwood fans, it is time to unite and fight for your right to like a certain character and not get insulted for it! After all, do we ever enter into more than friendly debate with Victor fans?
Most of all, we must maintain our cool. Keep a rep and maintain a situation like Scotty would... with tact and an extra game plan.
I hope this encourages you all (especially to get those submissions in quicker ;) and lifts your spirits!
