  • (06/07/99)     Funky Cool!! Callum was on StarTV doing an interview with Terry David Mulligan. Someone just spotted the interview on CityTV, and I have been watching Access and Bravo looking all over for this interview, but I have not found it yet. I also heard that it's got a picture of Callum in a Boy Scout uniform when he was 7 or 8, how cool is that! Well if you want a look see, here's the Transcript of the StarTV Interview, June 1999.

  • (04/30/99)    Hey people, here's what's up with the Vines Magazine I was talking about, it's a Canadian Wine Magazine for April and May 1999 , which has Callum on the front cover eating grapes and features seven pictures of him including the front, as well as a three page article. The article is fantastic as well. ;) If you want to see what the magazine and pictures are like, and read the article yourself, follow this link to go to see the scans on Dawn Arnold's web page (by the way thanks Dawn for scanning them so quickly!) If you want a copy of the magazine for yourself, and your from Canada your best bet which is where I went to first, is to go to your local Chapters book store, they may or may not have a copy there in the food and wine section, and if your not from Canada then here's what you do: Send a cheque or money order and make it out to:
  • Vines Magazine 159 York Street St. Catharines, Ontario Canada L2R 6E9

The cost is $3.95 in U.S. funds. This covers the cost of the magazine, the taxes, and shipping the magazine to you through Express Post. After receiving the cheque you will received the magazine in 1 or 2 days. And of course if all else fails, you can enter the contest which I'm running and get it for free. :) If you would like to get a copy of the prints of the original picutres from the magazine, and if there is enough requests fro them, the photographer may make prints for everyone, here's where to request for them: the phone number is 905-682-4509 and the email is editor@iaw.on.ca. Hope this helps.

-Also in the news, Callum's film"The Five Senses", which he filmed in Toronto last fall, will have its world premiere as part of the Director's Fortnight lineup for the 1999 Cannes Film Festival.

  • (04/24/99)    Hey Callum fans here's the stuff, eXistenZ came out yesterday; I haven't seen it yet, but I'm planning to very soon. Callum's part sounds small, but he appears through out the movie from what I have heard. Here's a great link to a Canoe site which has links to Canoe & other sites about eXistenZ, I recomend it if you are missing your eXistenZ fix. :) As well, here's an article from yesterday in the New York Post.
  • -Also for your reading pleasure here's two small articles from April/ May 1999 Issue of Tribute magazinne on some movies which Callum is currently involved in (his names not mentioned in either.)

-"The Five Senses "I was fascinated how the lives of five characters, each of whom represents one of the five senses-vision, hearing, touch, smell and taste-become intertwined. The film is about each one's search for some sort of significant emotional connection to another human being," expalins directior Jeremy Podeswa. The Five Senses stars Mary-Louise Parker (Boys on the side), Molly Parker (Kissed), Gabrielle Rose (The Sweet Herafter), Philippe Volter (The Double Life of Veronique), Mario Leonardi (Like Water for Chocolate) Pascale Bussierres (When Night is Falling), and Daniel MacIvor (Twitch City). Filming in Toronto, Powdeswa took advantage of some of the city's older and well worn locations such as the Heritage Building on Adelaide Street and several locations along Queen Street West."

-"The Highwayman Francis Boyd Drake (Stephen McHattie) is having a bad day. His boss, Phil Bishop (Louis Gossett Jr.) has fired him, his wife is leaving him and his landlady has just evicted him. As if it could get any worse, it's also the day Drake's long-lost daugher Ziggy (Laura Harris) enters his crumbling world. Ziggy adds to the chaos by bringing her lunatic companions Breakfast (Jason Priesley) and Panda (Bernie Coulson) along for the ride. This crazed but comedic thriller set a gentle man against a world he has never quite figured out. Directed by Keoni Waxman, The Highwayman is being filmed in Toronto and includes the Gladstone Hotel on Queen St. West among it's locations. For his part, Gossett Jr. says he's delighted to be working in Toronto again. Gossett says he has become such a regular, he now has his own local dentist.

  • (04/15/99)    Here's some more info on Last Shot:
  •  -There's info on Last Shot in the April 5th edition of Playback, here's there web page address http://www.playbackmag.com.

-Here's some stuff from B.C. Scene Apr 5 99: The story involves a murder mystery that grips guests stranded at a motel during a storm. The 21-day shoot runs until April 28 and includes a week on Seymour Mountain in North Vancouver.

-Here's some more info from the Hollywood Reporter:The Last Stop (Thriller) New City Prods. Inc., 200-1620 W. 8th Ave., Vancouver BC V6J IV4 , 604.732.3914, fax - 732.3987, Shooting in Vancouver BC (Start March 29, 1999)CAST: Adam Beach, Jurgen Prochnow, Rose McGowan, Callum Keith Rennie, Winston Reckert.      -Also David Cronenberg and fellow cast members of eXistenZ are doing the usual talk show rounds, which even lead Cronenberg to being on TSN, on a show talking about sports. I guess earlier that day Cronenberg had thrown the opening pitch to a Toronto Blue Jay's baseball game!

-Here's an addy for a page which has an interview with Cronenberg about eXistenZ from a University newspaper. http://members.tripod.com/~bumbleshoot/nuttiness/cronen.html.

-And finally for your info, those people who get Much Music in Canada and the U.S., I've been seeing the trailer for eXistenZ on there lately, and yes I saw it with my own eye's, Callum is in it for a split second. I can't wait until the 23rd when it comes out!!!

  • (04/07/99)      Oh Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!!! Lot's of good stuff for you people today. If your from Edmonton, I've got some stuff for you, if your from Vancouver, your going to literally *faint*!!!!!!!! Faint stuff first:
  • -Callum is right now filming in Vancouver for a film called "Last Stop." It started filming on March 28, and will be going until April 28. It is probably to late, but If you're determined, the Extras casting director is James Forsyth, and y ou have to send a resume & photo, attention Extras Casting, to:

    200 - 1620 West 8th Ave / Vancouver, BC, V6J 1V4 / fax: 732-3987

Main Characters are: Adam Beach (Smoke Signals, Dance Me Outside) plays "Jason," Jurgen Prochnow (Das Boot, Air Force One) plays "Fritz," Rose McGowan (Going All the Way, Scream) plays "Nancy"

Here's two quotes from the author of the screenplay:

About the plot: "It's a thriller, FARGO meets TEN LITTLE INDIANS."

About Callum:"Sad to say I'm not sure who Callum Keith Rennie plays, but knowing who he is, I would bet it is one of the Adler brothers, Jake or Roy, who are two good old boys that don't exactly live politically correct lifestyles. Sorry I couldn't be more help, but hey, I'm only the writer."

-Here's the Edmonton Stuff, (and if your going I'll see you there too!):

Okay, of course this doesn't apply to everybody, so if you don't care, then move on. If you happen to live in Alberta, or a place where the Moving Pictures Film Festival might be heading to next, then read on. (If you wanna see Last Night, The Red Violin, and what the hell, Babz Chula, then also read on.)

Moving Pictures is a tiny film festival which in the past has gone across Canada. Last year they were in 9 cites during the spring. I don't know really much more than that, I looked all through the net and couldn't find anything current, except for their site from last years tour.

In Edmonton, in Inter Vue weekly (April 1st to 7th) there's a large advertisement that goes something like this: "Metro Cinema is pleased to welcome back, for the third year in a row, Moving Pictures: Canadian Films on Tour! This outstanding selection of Canadian features, documentries, and short films put together from the Vancouver International Film Festival's Canadian Images Package has been touring Western Canada. Moving Pictures goal is to get these images of Canada in front of Canadians." There will also be guest directors introducing the films and taking questions: Gary Burns, Jonathan Tammuz, and Bruce Sweeny.

Address: (I actually got the first address that I posted wrong, so here is the right address (April 9th, 1999)) Metro Cinema /Zeidler Hall in the Citadel Theatre/98228-101 A Ave./ Edmonton, AB (metro@scti.ab.ca)/ Call492-1671 for info.

Schedule: Here's what I thought were interesting films (which were most of them) (also if the movie is resrticted, they won't let you in if your under 18): Kitchen Party (1997 film) @ Friday 16th, 7:00pm/ Dirty (1998 film staring babz chula as a middle aged dope seller, yeah no kidding, that's CKR's previous girlfriend for those who don't know!)@ Friday 16th 9:00pm / Last Night @ Saturday 17th 9:00pm/The Red Violin @ Saturaday 17th 7:00pm

Cost:If your OVER 18, you have to buy a membership for $7.00/Students it's $6.00. Then the regular admission for the rest of the time is $5.00/and for students it is $4.00

-Remeber that eXistenZ is opening on the 23rd! The trailers I've heard have been playing with certin movies like Mel Gibbson's Pay Back, and that the trailer is also on video's like Blade, and Ring Master.

-Callum is also suppose to be staring in another film called Five Senses, I haven't heard much about it, but if I get any info, I'll be sure to tell you guys.

-And finally for those of you in Canada who missed Callum's appearance on Open Mike, they will be showing it on this Friday the 9th at 12:30am, on CTV as well as the Comedy Network. So go warm up those VCR's if you missed it last time! He appears in it at about the 45min mark for about 5min., but it's so cool though!

  • (03/30/99)      Okay, so it's been a *really* long time since I posted anything, and I  am in the middle again of writting more term papers, but I thought I'd take a second to tell everyone what's new, and there's a *lot*!!!! So get set, here it goes:
  • -There are two articles out on Last Night which have pictures of Callum in the film and an overview of the film itself. Here's where you can get them:

-The March Issue of American Cinematographer has a five page article on Last Night, and one pic of CKR.

-The March Issue of Creative Screenwriting which has an analysis of the LN script by Don McKellar, it also includes a picture of Callum. Here's the address where you can send away for thi s Magazine:

To Get the Magazine: 816 E Street, Suite 201 Washington, DC 20002

To Subscribe to the Magazine: 518 Ninth Street, Suite 308 Wash, DC 20002 PHONE: (202) 543-3438

-Also the April Issue of Flare Magazine is suppose to have an article about the Genie Awards, with pictures, and one with our guy Callum in it as well.

-Twitch City of course was in production this month, and it has been confirmed that the new show's will be appearing this September. Callum will be appearing in about half the episodes. The old episodes should be shown at this time as well, before the new ones will be aired on CBC.

-Strange World has come and gone, and has now been canceled on ABC. Callum's part was about five min. long, and his character...., well, you'd have to see it yourself, let's just say the rest of the show wasn't worth watching. Foolish Heart, the episode where Callum appears was also aired, and he was only on it for aprox 2min, playing a husband who's wife is cheating on him, and whom he goes on to have an arguement with, telling to her to stay away from Ken Finklemen's character.

-Ebay has also got some goodies up for auciton, here are some address for those who are interested. They're HCL stuff with Callum; mostly hard to find posters and pictures.

-David Cronenberg's eXiztenZ is opening on Friday April 23, 1999 across the country. The trailer for the movie is being shown at the moment with some movie previews, and Callum supposedly appears in it for a milasecond wearing a bereteXistenZ.jpg. The movie itself, at the Berlin Film Festival won the Silver Bear Award in February. So keep an eye out for the trailer, advertisements, and interviews in newsp apers and on televison (I've seen a banner for it in a movie theatre already!) So far it's been heard that Callum appears in the second part of the movie, which is within the game, and he is also seen at the end of the movie as well, and that his part is suppose to be rather good.

-Here's a glossary of terms from the movie to get you Psyched!

eXistenZ The daring new organic game system which, when downloaded into humans, accesses their central nervous systems, transporting them on a wild ride in and out of reality - an experience intimate beyond expression. It changes every time it is played, adapting to the individuals who are actually playing it. The result is that you have to play the game to find out why you¹re playing the game.

MetaFlesh Game-Pod The game module, resembling a living kidney, started by depressing a nipple-like protuberance, causing a rhythmic, peristaltic rippling effect. The eXistenZ game-pod is basically an animal grown from fertilized amphibian eggs stuffed with synthetic DNA. Because it¹s an animal, it has a spine, bones and muscle and is susceptible to disease.

Bioport Small, Metaflesh permanent spinal jacks positioned just above the belt-line into which the UmbyCord is plugged. The body¹s nervous system, metabolism and energy is the power source for the game.

Bioport Insertion Gun The device which shoots the port-plug into the base of the spine.

UmbyCord A split Y-shaped 12-foot connector cord resembling an umbilical cord with twisted, translucent, blue and red veiny vessels running just below the surface. UmbyCords plug into ports in the back of the game-pods.

Game loop A repetitive behavioral pattern locking in a player when another player does not know how to advance the plot by saying the correct game line of dialogue.

Gristle gun A pistol made of bone and gristle, almost like the half-decayed body of a small mammal whose snout is the barrel, and whose rigid hind leg is the trigger. Instead of bullets, the gun shoots human teeth. It is designed to get past any kind of metal or synthetics detector.

  • (03/11/99)      Sob, *Wail*, sob, sob, =( The finale of Due South will be airing in Canada on CTV March 14th at 7pm, with a full two hour show (with both of the two parts to the episode being aired together), the episode is called "Call Of The Wild" or refered to by Dusers as the acronym COTW. That's this Sunday! Sob. You can tell I'm a DS fan. Here's an absolutely divine picture of SRK in Red Serge. Also for your info, this is the episode where Stan Kowalski (Callum), and the real Ray Vecchio (played by David Marciano) are suppose to meet for the first time, it's suppose to be excellent. Off Topic: There's an article on the front of todays Edmonton Journal's Entertainment section for those of you who are interested, or are able to get it, with a nice big picture of Callum and Paul in character (it's a pretty common pic, it was on the DS II CD, but it's all nice and blown up in detail), and an article about DS and the finale, but the article is mostly on what Paul Gross is up to right now.
  • And for those of you who don't know what Due South is, which I doubt there's many if you've found this site ;), it was Canada's most successful running televison series, filmed in Toronto, Canada. It also was the first Canadian T.V. show to make it onto prime time on a major American network, CBS. After being almost cancalled 3 times on CTV(!) and cancalled twice by CBS, finally stopping it's run on that network in the second year after it was brought back as a mid season replacement, DS still continued on to make, in my mind one of, the best t.v. show's around for five years with a total of four seasons, since the spring of 1994.

So for you Due South Fan's, crack open your DS CD's, crank them up, and warm up those VCR's, get some Kit Kat's, and grab some Smarties and crush them up in your coffee. It's gonna be a good one.

  • (03/09/99)       Okay forget everything I just said in the last update!!!!Strange World, the episode staring Callum will be airing tonight, I just checked my own t.v. guide after I was getting mixed info from everyone. Here in Alberta it's showing at 11:00pm (mst) on ABC. In the TV Times it's says about the episode that "A woman claims her doctor is trying to kill her unborn child," which is suppose to be the episode Callum is to be in, although the offical site had said before yesterday that it should be the third episode, until today when they changed it. Oh well, I'll get it right some time. ;)

  •
  • (03/07/99)       Just wanted to remind everybody, but Strange World will be premiering tommorow night on ABC, so go check your local listings. Around here in Alberta it's showing at 11pm (mst). The second episode is scheduled to appear the next night, on March 9th. And Callum's episode, "Lullaby" which is the third one, should be appearing on March 16th. This is from what I understand so far, but of course, you might wanna watch just to make sure you don't miss anything, you know how those silly t.v. networks are. And a little off topic, but to everyone in Canada I hope you enjoy the Juno Awards tonight on CBC at 8:00pm (mst)!!!, they're Canada's version of the Grammys for those of you who don't know.

  •
  • (03/02/99)      Hey people. Sorry I haven't posted anything new for awhile, I know your just waiting with baited breath! ;-p Not so much new, we do know for sure now that Callum will be in the fourth episode of Foolish Heart (the series premieres tommorow night, yeah!), so that would mean that his episdoe should air, ah, um, on the 24th of March at 9pm on CBC, as long as it's not pre-empted (well, you know). For more info on Foolish Heart, go to the link listed in the last update bellow this one labled "CBC site". Here's the Episode Four synopsis:
  • March 24 - Ep. 4 - Breathless - Peter (Ken Finklemen), the director, and Barbara (Sarah Strange), the writer, act on their intense desire for one another. Both are married to other people and there are children involved but they can't help themselves. Also appearing: Callum Keith Rennie as Ross Jennifer Wigmore as Rachel.

And very, very good news for Twitch City Fans, and not so good news, but first the good. Callum will be appearing in, count them, 4, episodes of TC! Episodes #2, 4, 5 & 6. Thanks to Jen Coe our fav. costume designer/ on set Twitch City mole, for the info!=) (I wish I could only be so lucky!) Bad news though, apparently TC won't be shown until "next season." I'm not *absolutly* sure about this info, so I'll check it out. Bu-Bye people.

  • (02/17/99)       I guess we can call this a VCR Alert! Foolish Heart, the 6 part, half hour mini series (six short films about love by Ken Finkleman) from CBC will be premiering on March 3rd at 9pm. Yes, Callum is listed in the cast (look at the cast list at the bottom of the site I'm about to give), in which episode he will be appearing is the big question, (or all of them???) and how big the part is. Here's the link to the CBC site and a synopsis of three of the episodes:
  • March 3 - Ep. 1 - The Program - Holly and Brennon are having a house designed by architects Katherine and Ian. Katherine and Brennon become intensely attracted to each other and act on this attraction with tragic results.

March 10 - Ep 2 - Lena - Lena (Arsinée Khanjian), an Armenian woman, struggles to make a good life for herself and her troubled teenage son Avo (Sako Dekirmenejian).

March 17 - Ep 3 - The Correct Decision - James Schneller (Tony Nardi), the highly moralistic, compassionate judge who tried the troubled teen from episode #2, exposes himself to be an intellectual fraud and suffers for his dishonesty. R.H. Thomsen guest stars.

  • (02/17/99)       I was just reading today and there was a small article in the Edmonton Journal in section C2, Feb 17th, 1999 "Rushdie inspired new Croenberg film, eXistenZ," by Deborah Cole, and it just goes on to say how Salmon Rushdie's experience influenced the making of eXistenZ, and gives some new info about the film. The film eXistenZ, "a science-fiction thriller about the hazards of virtal-reality games premiered Tuesday at the Berlin Film Festival..." "Industry officals and reporters crowded the theatre to see the latest feature by Cronenberg, who has made such critical favourites as The Fly and Naked Lunch. It is competing for the Berlin festival's Goldern Bear prize."

  •
  • (02/15/99)       I forgot to add this little piece of important information, Callum is going to have a full length article in the next March issue of Maclane's magazine, I think they're going to be talking about the Genie awards and everything, and there should be some good pic's hopefully. You may want to get your grubby hands on a copy or two, or three.=) If your living in Canada, usually you can find them at any news stand. Anywhere else, you may want to attach yourself to your closest Canadian buddy and start some begging. (Tounge firmly planted in cheek.)
  • (02/14/99)       Well this is not so much news as it is info, I've got two useful links for ya people, one is the Berlin Film Festival Official Site, it's got some info on eXistenZ and lists the name of Callum's character in the film, by the way here's a picture of Cal from the film eXistenZ.jpg. The film will be premiering there on Tuesday, Feb 16th. Also, I found this great site from CBC's info culture, which has terrific interviews, and pictures from back stage at the Genies. There's also one or two real audio interviews posted there with Callum!

  •
  • (02/09/99)       I've just made out a transcript, with my own slant on Mike Bullard's Open Mike on Friday February 5th, so that those of you who may not have seen it can get an idea what it was like. Ohhh yes, it was gooood, but sorry I took so long in transcribing it. I hope you like, though. To me he seemed nervous for awhile, maybe not quite shy, but his phobea for live t.v. was made very apparent. He defies it by getting down right cocky at times, as you'll see. Open Mike Transcript Feb 5th, 1999

  •
  • (02/05/99)  As promised, so I shall deliver.  First of all, I should give you a web address for CBC which has a great page on the Genies with movie clips, pictures, transcripts, and more at Newsworld. And here's a Canoe Article, as well as well as an Article from the Calgary Hearld which has a great picture of Callum and Sandra. So Callum won for Best Supporting Actor, Sandra Oh for Best Actress, and Don McKellar took home awards for Best Screen play which he co-wrote for the Red Violin, and he also recieved the Claude Jutra Award for Last Night, which is an award for direction of a first feature film. I'm sorry that I can't post everything seeing as I have limited room and limited hardware.:)  But I do have some goodies, here's my version of the transcript for his Acceptance Speech, and Presenting.

  •
  • (02/04/99)       Don't mind me if I freak out. Aaaaaahhh, Woooo Hooooo!!!! Callum WON!!! Callum won the Genie Award for Best Supporting Actor for Last Night!!! I'm writting this at 8:37pm mst only minutes after he won it. For those of you who couldn't see it, he was wearing a dark suit, and a blue shirt, tie, and wonderful thick framed blue glasses. He looked very, very good. Okay you can now drool, I know I am. He was with a lady friend, who I'm guessing is named Liz because he thanked his friend Liz in his acceptance speech. He was very serious, and spoke very low, but the audience chuckled at times during his speech. He seemed a bit nervous to me (???) and pulled out a piece of paper, his speech started something along the lines of this, "I'm not very good at taking compliments, and this is a compliment.... I want to thank Don McKellar, and (searching for someone)....Don McKellar." Insert laughing. =) I'm just waiting now for him to come out again to present one of the Awards. Okay, it's 9:00pm and he's presenting the award for Best Actress in a film with that chick from the Species movie, the model from Alberta whose name I should know, but alas I don't. ;) And Sandra Oh just won the award!!!!! I'm guessing she was shocked. :) I'll have the complete info and list of winners tommorow (that ones are important to us at least) in this section. Good Night, I've gotta go work on my essay that's due tommorow. :)

  • What CKR Was Doing:

Callum at the moment is unbelievably busy with many, many projects since he finished Due South. There's David Cronenberg's new film eXistenZ which he was working on earlier last year and, it's premiering sometime this year. There's also The Highwayman which is described as a "black comedic road movie" in which Jason Priestley is the executive producer of the $4.5-million production. Callum also appears in Foolish Heart, a new six-part series for CBC by Ken Finkleman, and in The Life Before This, a Canadian film directed by Jerry Ciccorittiri, which follows seven separate people's lives before a shooting they witness in a coffee shop. Bruce McDonald has also convinced CKR to come work with him again on a film called Dead Cat Bounce, in what CKR calls "a film about woe, self-deprecation and egos run amok." And of course there's the six new episodes of Twitch City which Callum, *may* be in this year, but this still has not been confirmed, filming begins sometime in February. Also Callum has also shot an episode of a new series which will be premiering on ABC called Strange World, and if everything works out for the show; in the third episode called "Lullaby" he will make a guest appearance as a character called Vince. The pilot for Strange World should air sometime in March. So expect to see Callum a lot on the big and small screen in 99'.

What's Has Happened To The Site:

  • (09/02/99)    I'm just gonna say that I added some of my pictures from the CKR related events at RCW 139, last week to the site in a little section called "Hard Core Road Trip.":) Hope you like them. If this shing-dig in Edmonton goes through, I'll probably be having some more pictures of fellow CKR fan's. It's nice for everyone to know, that your not the only one!

  • (08/23/99)    I guess I haven't said much lately, but I did make some changes last month when I added the brand spanking new Callum Swag page. I think it's pretty cool at least. And like I said, if I made any boo boo's, or if ya have any info on how to find that "hard to find" video or mag., just e-mail me and I'll be pleased to post it up, plus I'll give you all the credit.:) Plus of course I've added a ton of news and some new links. I'm also thinking, but just thinking, about putting together a little RCW picture page related to the CKR event's at RCW this year. But I'll ponder on it some more cause I've got a lot on my plate...:) And hey, RWAC has reached the 10,000 mark, hoo ray! Party at my place!!!! Okay, so it may not be a big deal to some of you, but I'm proud. <g> I also noticed the site was listed in the RCW 139 1999 event guide thing-a-majig under CKR sites, way cool. Yep, see ya guys later. And if you scrolled all the way down here, you've got gut's don't ya?;)

  • (06/01/99)     Well another RWAC Poll finished, I think this is number Poll #4, but altogether we had 188 responses, so thanks everyone. The question was what type of movie would like to see Callum Star in? Of course, a romantic type movie was what you picked the most, and all of you would have probably liked to have cast yourself as the co-star/romantic interest as well.;) It'll be a while till I have the next poll up, cause I have to think up some more questions for you guys, I'm always open to suggestions, hint, hint. ;) And as always previous poll results are further down as well. And also a big Yippe! for RWAC because we have gone past the 6,000 mark. I'm so glad to see cal and my little site are so popular, here's to hopen' we make it to 10,000 by the end of the summer. Also the Sound Archives, and Picture Archives are now on Geocites web sites if you haven't noticed, so now I have a little more leg room and there's tons of new sounds, so go help yourselves to some. And finally, this site is soon to be listed on Yahoo Canada, I had sent in an e-mail more than a month ago and they've just responded. So if your looking for it, look under Entertainment/Actors & Actresses/ Callum Keith Rennie or under Canada/Entertainment/Actors & Actresses/ Callum Keith Rennie, or just type in his name and it should lead you to it. Also Congratulations to Contest winner Jackie from April who won the DS tapes on here, and now Cinna this May who has won the Vines Magazine which I was giving away. And thanks to everyone else who entered the contests. See Ya Later.
  • (04/14/99)     Well thank you, thank you, everyone for filling out the RWAC Poll #3, it was extremley successful!!! Here's the results of over 262 responses to the question: Where did everyone first see Callum. The results for Twitch City are misleading, the percentage was most likely bellow 1 so the poll did not count it, but there were responses for TC though. But of course DS was a big favorite, but what I found interesting was that so many people had first seen him in Double Happiness. Anyways, I hope you'll take the time to respond to my next poll! Previous poll results are further down the page. Some new stuff on the site: some new links, a new pic in the bio from grade 10, and of course even more news.
  • (03/30/99)     Lots of new news, some new CKR quotes, and I added a little to the Bio in the CKR Selections at the bottom, lots of new links, and a new mailing list! The poll is going absolutly fantastic, thank you to eve ryone, I'm going to keep it up for a little longer. And there's a contest!

  • (03/13/99)     So I lied, I decided to do some of my site revamp this weekend, I'm a bad student.;) I pretty much just updated everything, I've got **New Due South pictures** up in the picture archive. There's **way** more SRK quotes now, I think you'll be impressed, there's some new links, I updated the bio a little and added some pictures of Callum when he was younger, and fixed this page a little too, and added another web ring for the clubs page. I think that's about it.

  • In the future I'm thinking about a contest for a Maclane's magazine, I'd buy an extra copy, and someone could win it who's not from Canada, etc, etc. Maybe a new merchendice page with info on where you can get Callum stuff. And an interesting idea I'm smacking around, a DS themed page about the two Ray's, called "Swing Both Rays." I'm so tired of "bla bla is better than bla bla." And everyone could post their opinons there. I don't know...wadda ya think about my ideas?

  • (03/10/99)   Well another Rebel Without A Comb Poll rapped up, this being the 2nd so far. We've had a 100 responses to the question after about three weeks, thanks to everyone for making it such a success!! The question was, What new project which Callum will be staring in, would everbody be anticipating? It was head to head through out the poll with eXsitenZ and Twitch City. Foolish Heart picked up some speed after the first episode was shown, and there seemed to be some interest in the Highway Man, most likely cause it involves another fellow Canadian, Jason Priestly. I hope you'll take the time an answer the New Poll!!! See ya. Poll#2
  • (03/07/99)    I'm going to be rapping up the second poll in just a bit, and I'll be posting the results here again; and I already have an idea ready for the third poll. I've also added a new section dedicated to a character sketch of SRK, which I had as a part of the CKR Bio before. I though the two should be seperate, but I'll be adding on to the character sketch later as well. I'm going to be busy for the next few weeks cause I'm heading into the end of the term & finals. But I'll be doing another page revamp in about a month. And I'll try to pop in once in and while and post an update. See ya.
  • (02/15/99)    Well, I've rapped up the 1st Rebel Without A Comb Poll, after about three weeks we've had 82 responses to the question of which Callism are the peoples favourite. The Head Shake won hands down, but the Wink was also very strong through out the polling. I know, it's a weird poll, but it was just for fun. ;)  Here's the results: Poll#1 There's a new poll up now that I hope everyone will take a second to answer, about which new Callum project they're excited about. If you have any suggestions for questions for a new poll e-mail me at: opdebeck@ualberta.ca
  • (02/14/99)    I'm changing the site around a little to make it easier for you to load because it's getting so big, it's also in honor of the site going past the thousand hit mark in less than three weeks!! Yeah people!  Also remember to take the time to sign my guestbook please. I've got a new transcript section, a very small sound archive which will soon grow, and I'll be adding some CKR DS pictures to the rwacpa in a bit (I trashed the unoriginal idea of having my own seperate DS page.) There's also another new mailing list called the CKR Defernder group, some new links, and of course more news.
  • (02/05/99)    Just added some new stuff too the "What's New" section, tommorow I'll be posting a few pics I've scaned from the papers about the Genies there as well, but alas no pics of Callum. Also, I'll be discussing how the Open Mike chat went. And I've added two more mailing lists!!!! They seem to keep coming from every where; and a special new article in my CKR Bio. Check it out. See ya.

  • (01/31/99)    Hey People! Please Sign my Guestbook at the bottom of the page, I'd love to get some more feed back about the site. :) Well, this is new to the site, this whole "What's New" section I just added to keep you informed of everything Callum. I'll be updating it frequently.  I'm also adding one or two more CKR and SRK Quotes, a bunch of links, and a new mailing list I've just found, and some stuff to the rwacpa. In the near future I'm planning to finish my Due South page and link a bunch of Due South pics of CKR to the Rebel Without A Comb Picture Archive. The web poll seems to be going well, and I'll rap it up in a week or two and post the final results here, so keep voting, and vote often;). I've also just joined the Due South, Sam Browne Belt, Web Ring, check it out at the bottom of the page. See ya.
