I can see you, your asking me what the heck are "Callumisms?" Well I'll tell ya. In my mind they are those little things that Callum does that makes him who he is. Usually it's his slight movements, but it can also be how he says things, what he says, or what he wears; things that reflect his personality in his work and everyday life that are unique only to him. Actions:
1)The Head Shake. Sorta the "I'm cool" kind of expression as he cocks his head side to side. I would say this is his trademark, it was the first thing I noticed about him.;)
2)The Thumb Thing. Callum has a tendency when he looks like he is thinking to use his thumb and run it against his eye brow to his temple, (ex. Last Night) or to run it down his jaw to his chin, or to hold it at the edge of his mouth (ex.Bell Mobility Poster)
3)Thumbing the Nose. He'll do this once in a while as a signal to someone.
4)The Wink. Of course one of his other great, silent and charming signals.
5)The Cellphone. The pinky to the mouth, and thumb to the ear gesture.
6)The Crucifixion. Arms out to the side, in a crucified gesture (ex. Hard Core Logo).
7)The Eye Squint. I noticed that in some pictures he will squint his left eye, is this from his injury?
8)The Hand Cupping. Callum has been seen cupping his hands one hand over the other in sort of a protective manner, rather lacing them together. (An example would be from the end of MotB Pt 2 while he leans over the railing, and a pic I found from Saturday Night Magazine. Thanks to Magan McDonald for pointing this Callumism out!!)
9)The Sniff. You know this, that slight sniff Callum will make when he's about to make something up. Sometimes he will also do the sniff and then do the headshake/neck kink thing to follow it up. Wanna Rumble?Clothes:
10)The Bracelet. What's up with this bracelet? It show's up all the time in Due South.
11)The Ring. The Head Stones Ring that Hugh Dillion gave him, you'll see him wearing it every once in a while.
12)The Sunglasses. You can actually see that Callum sometimes wears the same sunglasses in DS that he wore in HCL. In public, he usually sports a pair dangling from the collar of his v-neck shirt.
