Callum Keith Rennie Estrogen Brigade (CKREB) Mailing List

One of the most active lists on the internet involving a Due South Character. With more than a hundred members, CKREB is an excellent place to meet and discuss our favourite topic, CKR. I totally recommend this list if your a fan, it rocks, and it's a lot of fun!

Hard Core Buddie Weekend (HCBW) Mailing List 
 

If you want to keep up to date about the details on the Hard Core Buddies Weekend in Vancouver Oct. 5-8, 2000 being hosted by the CKREB, this is the place to be! It's a new list so member's can know what's happening, get to know each other, and maybe make arrangement for hotel and travel. It's highly recommended if you're going. Anna Campbell is the list mum, as well as for the CKREB list, so ask her questions dealing with the list. The Due South Mailing List

The topics usually centre around Due South or are DS related, but things about Callum and his character Stan come up often. I highly recommend this mailing list if you are a fan of the show. The list is very large, and very active, usually having more than 50-100 messages a day, so I *very much* recommend using Digest mode, where all the messages will come in packets.

Callum Keith Rennie Web Ring

This is the first CKR Web Ring ever! If you are interested in joining, go to Janet Orr's page at: http://www.fortunecity.com/lavendar/polanski/585/fanclub.html and fill out the form, and you'll be placed into a waiting queue for the web ring, it may take a couple of days before you will get a reply back containing the html code to place on your web page. This site is also a member of this ring.

Due South Web Rings

Same as the Web Ring above. Just go to: http://members.tripod.com/~pwatol/webrings/ and you have the choice of joining one of two web rings, the Sam Browne Belt Due South Web Ring for Due South related sites, or the Duser Web Ring for Due South fan's other pages. Fill out the form, and you'll be placed into a waiting queue. A lot of the sites on the Sam Browne Belt are related to Callum. This site is also a member of this ring.

Hard Core Buddies Weekend (HCBW),  Vancouver 2000
 

Basically there's going to be a small gathering of CKR fans from all around the world in Vancouver, October 5-8 2000. This is a fan organized event. Trips to filming sites, film viewings, and attending The Vancouver International Film Festival are planned among many other activities.  For more information go to Kari E.'s site, she's the one who is organizing the event. There's also a mailing list and message board already created for the event so fan's who are going can communicate with one and another. Registration for the weekend should start in early 2000. Hope to see you there!
 
 

CKREB Luncheon & Stakeout (RCW 139 Ride Forever), Toronto 1999
 

The 1999 Due South Convention, RCW 139 Ride Forever, has come and gone. But the memories from the CKREB events at the convention still live on, in the form of a website "Freeze, This Is A Stakeout" brought to you by one of the Stakeout event co-ordinators Erin, and the other co-ordinator Monica. The Callum Keith Rennie Fan Club (CKRFC)

***Updated. (11/01/99) Just a warning, the fan club's site should no longer work, the CKRFC is defunct at the moment because CKR's management is trying to decide whether they want to participate in a fan club, it may later be revived though.***

This has just been announced recently, but one of our lovely CKR fans is putting together a Callum Keith Rennie Fan Club. The official launch will be in August at the 1999 Due South Convention, RCW 139. This fan club is not official, in other words it is not in co-operation with Mr. Rennie, but is run by the fans for the fans. From the sound of it, it sounds like the club will based in Snail Mail, or in other words regular old fashion mail, and it should be available to everyone around the world when you sign up for the membership. Some of the perks of joining the CKRFC will be: Four newsletters per year, yearly annual, exclusive offers not available anywhere else, and support of a worthy charitable organization, TBA at launch.  Stuff they've got in the works I have heard is a wonderful CKR Calendar...
