Rebecca Gayheart was born on August 12th in 1972 in Hazzard, state of Kentucky (USA). As usual for many Americans she has ancestors of many origins, like Italian, Irish, German and Cherokee. Her father was a miner, her mother sells a wide range of nationally well-known cosmetics. Rebecca has two sisters and a brother. At the age of 15 she decided to move from the quiet Kentucky to the pandemonium of New York to finish High School. She didn`t want to enter on the same journey through life like her sisters, cousins and aunts, who got married young. She preferred to travel all over the world. After two years at Lee Strasberg, who trained and educated her, she got her first part in "Daytime". In Germany she became famous by playing the part as Bess martin and the series "Earth2" on TV, which, unfortunately, was unfinished. Besides acting in different series and movies she worked as a model in promotions,
too.
