This 1975 Torino is own by GORDON W.
Judging by the red mirrors, it must be from Season One.
This is GORDON'S little sister,I wanted to thank Gordon for letting me
used this picture.

The two Torinos pictured above belong to Doug S. Both of these
cars were used from the second season until the end of the series.
After the series ended and they were returned to Ford Motor Co.,
Ford auctioned them off at one of their company auctions.
The Torino in the foreground still has the original paint on it,
and had only about 9,000 miles on it, while the other Torino had
30,000 when the show ended. Currently, the first one has
32,000 miles on it, the other has about 40,000.

This torino is own by John m
John purchased this car in 2000 and is now restoring it to show condition.According to the VIN it is one of the 1,000 Limited Edition S&H Torinos built by Ford in the Spring of 1976 - and one of the earliest ones built. It has a 429 4 bbl. in it, but was built with a 351 according to the VIN.
John says this car was leased to Spelling Goldberg Productions.
Known as "Unit 129," John says it was used as a "backup" car late
in 1977 and all of 1978 and '79 (the 2nd - 4th seasons of the show).
The car has apparently undergone some changes since it was used
on the TV show, as it has red mirrors instead of chrome, and it
does not have the body side moldings the TV show cars had
after the first season.

This is the Stunt Torino used in the third season episode
"Partner" - it is the car that Starsky crashes into the
construction site, resulting in Hutch suffering from "amnesia"
throughout the episode. Watch the crash scene in slow motion,
and you'll see the round "sport" emblem on the grille,
the chrome molding in front of the front wheels, and the
red mirrors - all these are different from the Torino
they are driving just before the crash!
Hey - no stunt double looks exactly like the real star!
The stunt car is a '74 Gran Torino Sport, with a 351 Cleveland
and 32,000 original miles. It has been fully restored, and lived
in New Jersey when these photos were taken in 1999.
