 Happy 25th Anniversary
"Starsky & Hutch" Torino

         The Starsky and Hutch Torinos were built in
              March, April, and May of 1976 -
              so they are all currently turning 25 years old!


In response to the popularity of Starsky's Torino on the TV show, Ford built
approximately 1,000 Limited Edition "Starsky & Hutch" Gran Torinos
in 1976, and ours is one of those cars! It was built on April 27, 1976,
in Chicago, Illinois, with bright red exterior paint, black vinyl bucket seats,
automatic XP-type (C4) transmission, non-locking rear axle,
HR78x14/B Radial tires, left and right hand racing mirrors,
sport (leather-wrapped) steering wheel, manual air conditioning,
tinted glass all around, bumper protection group,
magnum 500 wheels, and a 351 Windsor V8 2 bbl. engine

John and Penny Torino has black vinyl bucket seats, automatic XP-type
(C4) transmission, non-locking rear axle, dual exhaust
(non- stock), sport (leather-wrapped) steering wheel,
left and right hand racing mirrors, magnum 500 wheels,
bumper protection, and a 351 Windsor 2 bbl. V8 engine.
It also has air-conditioning and a clock (neither works), and a
Federal siren and red teardrop light (for show purposes only).
