-Slayers Gorgeous... The fourth Slayers movie, Slayers Gorgeous has been released in Japan as a double feature. It probably won't be available on Laser Disc and VHS until around Christmas time, or even later. And that means it probably won't be in the U.S. for at least
another year (they still have to release the second and third movies here), so have fun waiting.
-Slayers Movie... Well, the Slayers Movie has been released by AD Vision in North America. What do you think of it? Well, I personally haven't seen the dubbed version, but hey, I heard
that it was REALLY good. Could it be better than the Software Sculptors versions of Slayers? I dunno, I haven't heard Naga's new voice yet!
-Slayers OVA...(RUMOR) Could it be? A three part OVA series with Naga and Lina? Well, that's what I've been told, but I've also been told. That would be pretty great, wouldn't it?
-Slayers Special #4(RUMOR) Okay, I also heard that a Slayers special #4 is in the works. Now that would be pretty stupid of them to do if a Slayers OVA is ALSO in the works, so I know that one of these
rumors has got to be false..
-Slayers Sales...Well, I'm happy to say that Slayers volume 5 has sold very well in the United States! Hopefully, this will prompt another company or even Software Sculptors to release the second season of Slayers, Slayers Next, very soon! I personally had a tough time trying to find Slayers Volume 5, it sold out like crazy at Suncoast video! One week they had 20 copies of it, the next week they had two!!
-Slayers Next in U.S...(RUMOR) This is just a rumor, but I heard that Pioneer Entertainment (the guys who bring us Tenchi Muyo) have aquired the rights to the second
season of Slayers, Slayers Next. Lets hope that this if this rumor is true, they use Lisa Ortiz as the voice of Lina again. Other than that, I think most of the other U.S. voices in the Slayers
T.V. series sucks.
-Slayers Again... (RUMOR) This is another rumor, but its also pretty close to being a fact, just not yet. According to my secret sources, a fourth season of the Slayers T.V. show will be coming out in Japan very soon. The first season was just called Slayers, season 2 was called Slayers Next, season 3 was called Slayers Try, and now I hear they want to call season 4 Slayers Again. That sounds like a really stupid title doesn't it? It's like saying, "here's another Slayers season... again". I hope they come up with a better title like Slayers Super Mega Power Champion Edition. But we can't all get our wish...
-Lost Universe...Lost Universe is supposed to be kind of a spin-off series from Slayers. It's written by the creator of Slayers, R. Araizumi. It's currently airing in Japan, however, I heard that it wasn't that good...
