In the new Tv series Doctors you may or may not have noticed a familiar face from the past. Mark Frost who plays Dr Steve Rawlings. He used to be the new bar manager Bruno in Brookside. The handsome doctor has a pleasant bedside manner making him popular with the female patients, but unfortunately for them he's happily married.

Another ex brookie cast member also made a brief appearance in the program as a patient . It was (Mary Tamm) Penny Crosbie who used to be Bing Crosbie's sister in law.

Nat's Working Hard

Another ex Brookie cast member is John Sandford who used to play Nat Simpson. Since leaving the soap he has found it hard to find the right acting parts, and has now decided to work hard concentrating on writing projects.

Mat's New Role In Hollyoaks

After Leaving the Musgrove family behind him 22 year old Kristian joined the cast of Hollyoaks. He now plays the part of the college handyman but is still called Matt Musgrove. It was just three weeks after being told the Musgroves would be written out of the soap that Kristian got a phonecall about joining the cast of Hollyoaks. Kristian's thought's were "I was made up about the idea when I first heard about it" The fact that he was going to play the part as the same Mat Musgrove came a surprise to him. Kristian thought of his new role as a compliment, when he was asked to revive his character in a different soap. He now feels he can work it to his advantage and make himself stand out. Kristian is currently living with his mum Maureen in Liverpool's Croxteth park and feels he has a bright future ahead of him.
