![]() These are a few of the sites I have found interesting, and helpful. Initially, I had planned on trying to explain fractals...decided that I wouldn't reinvent the wheel. Many of these sites offer very good definitions of fractals. For the purpose of this page, I will simply say that fractals are a branch of mathematics that has many varied applications. There are many different fractal programs...find the one you like best. Take the time to explore different parts of the shape, play with different equations and color combinations. A word of advice...don't give up after the first few magnifications. Many of the fractals, on these pages, have been magnified twenty-five or more times. I've also switched filters, and formulas, in the middle of a design and used the color cycle many times. INTERACTIVE
PROGRAMS
Fractint Homepage Find information about the Fractint program, and download from this site. Iterations et Flarium24Another source for the Flarium program. You'll also find downloads for Itriazon (Iterations), and Tiera-25. OTHER FRACTAL LINKS
Spanky WelcomeThis was the first fractal page I found, and is still one of my favorites. Noel has more fractal links than I have seen on any page. Loads of information about fractals. And fractal galleries that I really enjoy. It's a site that I have bookmarked and suggest that you do the same. Gumbycat's Second CyberhomeGumbycat's two sites are my favorites. Take a look and see why. Don Archer's Fractal ArtAnother great site. Everything from fractal galleries to fractal music. Joakim Linde's Fractal Icon Archive
