Here are some books about acting, which Lady G, in association with Amazon.com, hopes you will enjoy. Note that Stanislavski and Boleslavski come first. That's because they come first. If you're just starting out, or if you can only afford two books, get those two.
Bookmark this page for three good reasons: 1. there's too much stuff to explore at once, 2. if you don't see what you want, you can always use this page as a starting point to find what you DO want, and 3. as new books come out they will be added (in fact Lady G will be very happy to accept suggestions, especially ones that include ISBNs).
Also included are some handy-dandy books for actors that are not necessarily ABOUT acting, e.g., books of actors' monologues.
NOTE: This page has quite a few books shown on it, in all their cover-art glory. In order for this to be a one-stop site for acting books, Lady G has not broken the page up alphabetically or in any other manner. The upside is, it's all here, folks. The downside is, wait for it.
