Here are four poems from Lady G's second book of poetry, Caught Again.
I WEAR A HAT
by Gail M. Feldman
I wear a hat
and walk like death, or George Raft
and no one laughs at me.
I wear armor,
my heart on my tin-can sleeve,
cut to shreds, rapier-style.
(I can mix my Renaissances
with my Dark Ages; no one
is going to test me on it --
not as long as I display
ma panache....)
I wear pistols
and walk bow-legged, in pain
but so well protected.
I wear stockings
and vamp like a spastic whore,
caught again, caught again.
LAURA
by Gail M. Feldman
Depression's not a pit;
you can't fall in.
The apple actress
grows around the core.
If the core is untrue
you grow around you.
The disney snow spun slantwiseIf I were drunk (and I am) and I cared (which I do)
would then teh harsh weather rign and the silent
song serve?
the Odd's Gonest Truth! That is, if I were drunk, and I am.
saneness
but facts!
