Fan Fiction Submission Guidelines

This archive is intended to house only the best-written Buffy-related fanfic I can find that interests me.  Since the internet has made publication of one's own work so easy, a great deal of writing has been made available to the public with little to no regard for the quality of the work itself.  I will not put up badly written stories here.

Sometimes a good writer has problems with the mechanics of writing, i.e. spelling, proper punctuation, etc.  If left uncorrected, these errors distract and detract from the story and inhibit the reader's enjoyment of it.  If the problems are minor, I might go ahead and correct them before I archive the story.  If they are major, I can work with the writer to improve the mechanics of the story before archiving it.

TQ's Entirely Objective General Requirements:

General disclaimer:  Joss Whedon created all of Buffydom, presently owned by him, Fox, and the WB.  The fan fiction writers just play there.  All fan fiction is copyrighted to its respective authors.

If you use another author's ideas, or if you write a cross-over story, make sure you cite your sources.  Plagiarism is illegal and discourteous in the extreme.

To submit your fan fiction, mail to theoryqueen@fcmail.com. I will be glad to read your "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and your "Angel" stories (especially if they include Spike) and if they meet my requirements, I'll put them up. I may proofread them and correct punctuation, formatting, spelling and grammar if necessary. Be warned.
