The rumor reported here on Oct 9th, was offically proven false from NEC comics.
In a letter from NEC, they stated, "At the end of this year the specials will be coming to an end. However, beginning next year, there will be a brand new Tick project that I think will satisfy all Tick fans out there."

What is the new Tick Project? Why are the issues taking so long to come out? We have to wait and see.
