In September 1997, I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, stage IV. That was like receiving a death sentence, at least to me. I had surgury, spent nearly 5 weeks in the hospital.Next, I started on 6 months of chemotherapy.I expect my last one to be March 31st 1998. | ||||||||||||||||

Thank God for my wonderful Family!! My son Tony came everyday. He changed my dressings, drove us to doctors and for blood work etc:My daughter Cathy came every evening from work to help. she kept my pill cases filled, ordered new precriptions, did what ever we asked. My son Joe came twice from San Antonio,Texas to help cheer me up. My friend Betty B. came and helped almost every day.My sisters and a brother came at different times from N.Y & Memphis. | part 2 | ||||||||||||||||

March 30 th- CA125 was down to 53. I have chemo tomorrow. It should have me in normal range when I see the doctor on April 27th. I will get test results and hopefully, news of remission.( to me, Cancer Free) Remission, to me means, I expect it back, " I don't !!" On April 30th I got the long awaited news.My Ca125 was 23.I'm i remission,to me,"cancer free".My prayers have been answered and now I can reach my goals. | ||||||||||||||||
