Karishma And Her 'Kaam'
 
Karishma who for some reasons has started
    calling herself 'Karisma'(pronounced charisma.
    Well, she does has the charisma to allure the
    audience so I think the new name suits her more),
    has shown to the world that hard work always
pays. It was her sheer hard work and sincerity, which
has won her the National Award at such a young age.
Now that she has a National award to boast of
Karishma can be really choosy. She says that there is
so much more to learn that she can't take things easily
just because she has achieved success. She wants to
do some very exciting, daring and wacky roles. She
says that she wants to do double roles also. Today the
blue eyed girl is not known only for dirty songs or her Govinda-David Dhawan sort of
movies. Karishma has come far from that. Now she is doing films that are different from the
usual mould and where she has something to do. The talented actress is working with some
of the very good directors.
She has Sharbani Deodhar's 'Silsila Hai Pyaar Ka'. She has a very sensitive role in it. It is
a very well conceived role. Sunjay Dutt is her hero in the film and Chandrachur Singh is
playing a negative character. She also has two of Kundan Shah's movies under her belt.
'Loveria' and 'Hum To Mohabbat Karega'. Both of them are comedies. Karishma is very
comfortable doing comedies and she is very happy with her roles in these films. Besides that
she has Sooraj Barjatya's 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'. She is working with two of David
Dhawan films also. One is with Salman and another 'Haseena Maan Jayegi' is with her
favourite co-star Govinda.
