Fall 1982 TV Guide Knight Rider Preview

What's that--you've outgrown The Dukes of Hazzard but haven't grown into Hill Street Blues? Have we got a series for you! An undercover cop(David Hasselhoff) is rescued from a near-fatal shooting by an eccentric millionare. He is given plastic surgery, a new identity and a new name, Michael Knight. Best of all, he gets a wonder car named Kitt. This futuristic, totally computerized vechicle thinks, talks, automatically avoids collisions and waked Michael up when he dozes. Micheal Knight is now a state-of-the-art Lone Ranger, champion of the underdog. He will reside in the secluded mansion of the millionare(now deceased) and venture forth to do good deeds, aided by the devoted Devon(Edward Mullhare).
