This site was specifically designed for the Virtual Places (VP) browser, which has a viewing area of 475X350 pixels, or 475x200 with dialog box activated.

For those unfamiliar with the VPclient: Virtual Places is a chat environment on the ZDnet and Excite servers, where: Avatars are 48x64 graphic representations of a user, and Gestures are audiovisual files used to express oneself in VP.

Note to Gesturehunters: Instead of the usual gestures page(s) I've 'hidden' them in the pictures and text on the avatar pages. Check the movie title at the top of the page for the number of avatars and gestures 'hidden' there. Also the avatars that contain gestures will bear a summary of the gesture it links to in the image description (preceded by gest:).    Example:

The avatars and gestures on this site are inspired by a number of movies from different genres. I try to be as original as possible and select films not already covered at other sites. Please drop me a line with any suggestions, comments or requests and I'll get back to you as soon as possible!
