Welcome to Beatriz's Forest. This inhabitance was enspired by the show Xena: Warrior Princess. I am a novice to the show, but I learn quickly. There will be much, much more later!

Who is Beatriz? Become enlightened here!

It was a humid evening. The golden chariot raced toward the edge of the Earth. The dense foliage kept the heat of the day close to the ground, and all who dwelt there. Beatriz sheathed her sword as she wiped the sweat from her brow. As much as she hated stoping her training for anything, she agreed with one of her sisters that it was indeed getting late. A hot bath wouldn't be so bad either. She began along the path to their village behind her sisters when her keen senses kicked in. She knew she was the last one, but had a sudden awareness they were being followed...

The Characters
(For new Xenites such as myself...These are my interpretations of the characters as far as I have witnessed, and yes, it is okay to laugh at my ignorance. ;-D)
This is Xena: The Warrior Princess. She goes around defending the innocent and just generally beating people down. Aparantly she has to have an equal balance with her dark side and her light (?) side in order to be a whole person. I guess she's the best warrior there is (which I think is pretty cool personally). She had a daughter named Eve which was evil but turned good. She's supposed to bring about the Twillight of the gods.
This is Gabrielle. She is a writer and Xena's best friend. She used to be really nieve, but she's grown up, cut her hair, and fights very well right along with Xena. She became the Queen of the Amazons once.
Ares is always trying to get Xena back on his side (but he wrecked his chance). He plots against her, battles with her, and makes promises to her. Talk about a dysfunctional relationship. He turns out in the end to be a good guy *sniff* when he turns mortal to save Gabrielle and Eve's lives. He says it's because he 'has a thing' for Xena (just like the webring says!). Yeah it's about time he said he loved her!
To be perfectly honest, I have no idea what the deal is with Joxer. He's a funny little character, always doin stupid stuff, he was the comedy relief. He's a wienie, but still came through in a pinch. He cooks, and once took down an entire army with his cooking. He's in love with Gabrielle and had trouble with the "no strings attached" thing. He even made up his own song:
Joxer the Mighty,
He's very tidy,
Everyone admires him,
He's so handsome it's a sin,
If you're in jeopardy,
Don't call the cavalry,
There's a better remedy,
Although he doesn't work for free,
He's every man's trustee,
He's every woman's fantasy,
Plus he's good with company,
He's Joxer, he's Joxer the Mighty!
Ha, ha!
Joxer died while trying to save Gabrielle from being killed by Eve (which at the time called herself Livia). His 'ghost' came back to tell Gabrielle to kill Eve, which she does try to do. The Bard later says Joxer's at peace. I still can't believe they killed him off. He was replaced by his son Virgil who's a good cryer, but we'll have to see.

Note to viewer: I, like Beatriz, have a facination with Ares. Well not so much Ares as the actor who plays him, Kevin Smith. This entire page was made with him in mind. Oh, and no copywrite infringement is intended, yada yada. Just tryin to make a good page here people!
