FATAL VICTIMS
NURSE HELEN - While the earthquake hits Cedar Oaks, Nurse Helen runs frantically to save various patients, but is trapped in a doorway when a gas pipe explodes in her face. Meg and Dana find her lifeless body pinned to the doorway while exploring the destruction.
LOURDES - During the second earthquake in Sunset Beach, Lourdes, the Richards' maid, sacrifices her own life in order to save Annie after she falls through the chasm in the Richards' nursery.
CURT - After Cole, Caitlin, and Francesca escape Phillip's reign of terror, they are confronted by a gun-totting Curt. Cole and Curt begin to fight for the gun until Cole gives Curt a few fatal blows to the face and chest. Curt's death is assumed due to the look on Francesca's face.
CAPTAIN JAMES NELSON & MR. O'BRIAN - When the ship capsizes after a horrible tsunami strikes, the captain, along with his first mate, goes down with his ship. The captain tried to alert the passengers of the disaster, but his efforts were too late.
VARIOUS CRUISE PASSENGERS & CREW MEMBERS - A majority of these unlucky guests perish when the tsunami hits the cruise ship. Those reluctant to follow Ricardo and his team die when the ballroom floods.
BRUCE - Melinda's cameraman meets his maker when he tries to climb a rickety ladder to the hull. The ladder begins to break and a burst of steam forces him off the ladder and into burning water that kills him instantly.
NORA - This female passenger who followed Ricardo in hopes of escaping fell to her death when another explosion hit the ship.
PHILLIP VARGAS - Vargas is presumed dead on the sinking ship after taking a gunshot wound to the chest inflicted by Cole. Phillip supposedly drowns off the coast of California when SS Neptune II sinks. No body is found.
MELINDA FALL - When the tsunami hits the cruise ship, Melinda, along with Casey and Sara, escape with an airtank into the raging waters of the Pacific Ocean. Melinda eventually has an altercation with a hungry shark where she is eaten "alive". However, her death is greatly exaggerated because she survives the shark attack.
