Over the course of the weeks ahead, the group suffers from mind-altering hallucinations that play on their worst nightmares; three people are murdered by a hatchet-wielding assailant; and suspicion runs rampant among old friends from Surf Central while a masked serial killer remains loose on the island. Who will survive and who is the killer is anyone's guess?
Five Week TERROR ISLAND Plot:
Meg encourages Vanessa and Gabi to see Madame Carmen, a psychic. Later, the psychic tells Vanessa she is getting some bad vibes from her. Meanwhile, the psychic tells Vanessa she sees trouble looming on the horizon with her mother. Casey agrees to spend New Year’s Eve with Virginia, not knowing she has some tricks up her sleeve. Ben learns from Mark that Meg went to see a psychic. Fearing she still doesn’t trust him, Ben goes to confront the psychic, whom he clearly knows, and is warned about death in the future. Having just bought Meg a house on an island for Christmas, Ben suggest to her she throw a New Year’s Eve party out there and invite all her friends. Later, Ricardo tells Meg she’s crazy to even think about getting on a boat with Ben after what happened to Maria.
Meg begins to finalize plans for her island New Year’s party and scopes out the eerie boat that will be transporting she and her friends. Virginia coyly tries to "pretend" to back out of the island trip but Casey convinces her to go. Later, Vanessa comes down on Casey for letting the opportunity to leave Virginia behind slip through their fingers. Later, as the Surf Central gang prepares to set sail, Ben phones Meg and mysteriously backs out on the trip citing business reasons. The Surf Central gang head off toward the island for Meg’s New Year’s party with out Ben who claims he will join them later. Sean’s date, Elizabeth, is mysteriously attacked in the boat’s hull by an unknown assailant. Later, the assailant is forced to hide behind a door with Elizabeth when Meg comes down to check things out. Unfortunately for Elizabeth, Meg nearly misses seeing her and her mysterious assailant. Later, despite her pleas, the assailant brutally stabs and kills Elizabeth and then throws her body overboard. Knowing Vanessa suffers from seasickness, Virginia craftily hides all of the seasick pills.
The Surf Central gang arrive on the island and take up at Meg’s eerie new house. Later, Mark tells them of a story about a group of partiers on the very same island 50 years ago who were murdered one by one. Sean search the basement for "murder mystery" clues and is attacked by a man wearing a mask. Later, Meg runs into Sean, who falls face forward, having been stabbed in the back. Everyone is relieved to discover Sean and Mark were pulling a prank and Sean was faking being stabbed. Even though the air has been cleared, the trip continues to have mysterious overtones. The mysterious island assailant drugs the gang’s soup and after finishing it, both Tim and Vanessa have horrifying hallucinations. Meg continues to anticipate Ben’s arrival to the island, unaware she is being watched. Everyone on the island continues to fall prey to horrifying hallucinations and all think it’s because of Mark’s creepy game. Meanwhile, after thieving Meg’s engagement ring, Jade wanders outside and finds herself being stalked by the assailant. Meg is plagued by hallucinations of Ben attacking her with scissors, but she tries to dismiss what she thinks she sees. Later, everyone tries to remain calm about the events taking place and realize Jade is missing, unaware she is outside on the verge of being murdered. Michael and Vanessa attempt to slip away and share some romance with one another but are not surprisingly interrupted by Virginia. Later, Vanessa goes out for a walk and comes across Jade’s bloody body stuffed in the bushes. Meg confides to Mark she’s misplace her engagement ring and goes out to look for it. Later, Tim catches up to her and tries to instill doubt in her mind about Ben but Meg continues on her way, unaware the assailant is now stalking her.
Everyone is highly traumatized over Jade’s murder, each of them trying to surmise what happened. Knowing everyone has been a victim to crazy hallucinations, Amy later suggests perhaps the killer is one of them. Casey finds Meg’s missing engagement ring in Jade’s pocket. Mark is stunned when a bloody gaff falls out of his bag, causing everyone to think he may be the killer. Determined to prove his innocence, Mark flies out in to the night to find the real assailant. Virginia almost get it by the assailant after the lights go out in the house. However, Casey and Michael show up in the nick of time, forcing the mysterious killer to back off...at least momentarily. Vanessa accompanies Meg outside but the two get separated just as the assailant sets his eyes on Meg. Some members of the Surf Central party come across videotape footage of Elizabeth’s murder. Tim, as well as everyone else, is convinced Mark is the killer after seeing the videotape. Later, he sees Meg and Mark talking and he desperately tries to get Meg to get away from Mark. The mysterious killer manages to lock Meg in the house alone. Realizing the assailant is coming for her, she locks herself in the bedroom just as a gaff comes hacking through the door. While walking in the woods, Vanessa falls over a cliff but later receives help from Virginia who is unexplainably carrying a knife. Later, Virginia lunges at Vanessa. Some of Surf Central gang pour over the boat and find blood stains everywhere. Later they conjure that perhaps Grogan is the killer and not Mark. The killer gets to Meg in the bedroom but she manages to fend him off. After several attempts to pursue her around the house and eventually knocking out Tim and Virginia, the killer corners her in the kitchen and reaches for a meat cleaver. Vanessa is relieved when Virginia lunges at her with a knife only to kill a snake that was beside her. Later, Viriginia fumes when Michael lovingly tends to Vanessa wounds. Casey and Sean plan to set sail on the boat off the island not knowing the engine is wired with explosives. Meg manages to fight her way out of the clutches of the killer and is later saved from his pursuit by Mark, who is able to stab the killer in the leg. Later, Mark heads out after the killer with a gaff in hand. Casey and Sean discover bomb plans in the boathouse and realize the boat’s engine is rigged with explosives. Later, the two are able to save Amy in the nick of time after she starts up the engine. Mark finds the killer in the woods and engages him in a battle but Mark finds himself at a disadvantage. Just as he’s about to be overpowered, Mark rips off the killer’s mask to reveal it’s Ben!
Mark manages to fight Ben off and attempts to get to Meg, thinking Ben will be after her next. Later, while searching for Mark in the woods, Meg hears him call out to her and she rushes to him just as he falls over with a gaff stuck in his back. Not knowing Mark is trying to tell her Ben is the killer, Meg begs him not to talk to preserve his strength. Later, as she calls for help, Mark manages to tell Tim about Ben. Virginia puts on the best show of her life when she tells Michael, should anything happen to her, she wants he and Vanessa to take care of Jimmy. Meg is disbelieving when Tim tries to tell her Mark implicated Ben as the killer. Later, everyone searches the forest and comes upon Grogan’s dead body, assuming he was the killer and not knowing Ben is watching them from afar. Gabi is beside herself over Mark’s death, knowing he was the only person in Sunset Beach who really cared about her. After everyone is briefed on Mark’s tragic death, the group assumes with Grogan dead, the worst is over, but unbeknownst to them, with Ben still on the loose, the nightmare has just begun. After washing his hands of blood, Ben joins the group at the house, seemingly having just arrived. Later, Tim point-blankly accuses Ben of being the killer but Meg steps in. The Surf Central gang takes the first opportunity they have to leave the island and return to Sunset Beach to tell Ricardo at SBPD everything that happen and of Mark’s death.
