If Chacha had one thing to say about Marin, it would be " Annoying!" Ever since that fateful day at the beach, Marin has been following Riiya around and driving Chacha crazy with her overboard affection for him. Riiya usually escapes from Marin's tight clutches by transforming into a wolf, because she simply refuses to believe that Chacha's "pet wolf" and her "darlin' Riiya" are one and the same.
Being a daughter of the sea, Marin's magic powers conjure up anything to do with the ocean. Once when trying to cast a spell for water, she filled a desert with sea water! On land, Marin conjures up a pair of legs to keep up with her beloved Riiya, but a drop of magic sea-water can instantly turn her legs into a tail when needed.
Marin will always be on the chase for Riiya, until that day when Riiya realises that he's the one for her (Which won't ever likely happen!). Her vain and selfish ways sometimes gets her into a lot of trouble. She knows she's never safe in the sea as "Sea-Boku" will always be on the lookout for her after she carelessly rejected her brother, George's love. But Marin believes that there is a large price to pay for love... and she knows it well.
